The differential stability of mRNA is an important
mechanism for posttranscriptional regulation of gene
expression in eukaryotes. Messenger RNA stability is
controlled by specific genes and growth conditions.
The review examines the theoretical possibility of
mRNA stabilization in vivo as a consequence of
replacing carbon atoms (C) or phosphorus (P),
composed of nucleic acid on the silicon (Si) atom.
During isolation of poly-(A)+mRNA from plant
tissues by the two-cycle affinity chromatography on
poly-(U)-Sepharose, regular changes in poly-
(A)++mRNA yield were observed. The changes
varied both with the plant genotype and growth
conditions. Celite treatment of heated and unheated
total RNA preparations from developing corn kernels
and from green and etiolated wheat seedlings.
Messenger RNA that differed in the length of poly-
(A)-sequences was used for hybridization. It is
evident that a reduction of poly-(A)-length causes
alterations in spatial structure of mRNA, and
associated proteins and cations Mg++ become
accessible to celite absorption. Heating promotes
melting of secondary structure, already initiated, and
increases the efficiency of mRNA stabilization by
celite. Interpreting the facts interact celite with mRNA
in vitro and stabilization of mRNA in vivo by
cycloheximide with a modern point of view can be considered with the position research of the
phenomenon of RNA interference
Sunflower is one of the most important oilseed
crops, which are of great economic importance in
Russia and in the world. It is very adaptive crop
in terms of climatic conditions range, for that
reason it is cultivated on a vast territory of the
Russian Federation in various weather conditions.
Sunflower oil has high nutritional and taste
qualities, it is used numerously in food and is
applied in various fields of food industry. The
biologically active linoleic acid, phosphatides and
fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K, which are of
great nutritional value to humans, are contained in
the oil. According to its calorific capacity,
sunflower oil is on the first place among
vegetable oils. Due to biological characteristics of
sunflower, the Krasnodar region is the most
favorable region of the Russian Federation for
obtaining high and stable yields of this crop.
However, here the drought is observed during the
summer period and it affects adversely the
productivity and quality of sunflower seeds. The
increasing of resistance to unfavorable weather conditions is possible only based on detailed
study of physiological features of productivity
formation and seeds quality that is highly
important task in view of the current geopolitical
situation in Russia. One way of solving this issue
is the appliance of the growth regulators,
possessing anti-stress activity that improve the
quality of sowing seeds and increase the
productivity and plant resistance to stressful
environmental factors. These drugs include
growth regulator called Furolan, which was
created in KubGTU and is certified for use in
Russia. It is not toxic and is used in nano-dozes,
there is no its residual quantities in the products
and environment. Furolan has a positive effect on
physiological and biochemical processes,
improves the productivity of plants, their
resistance to unfavorable growing conditions by
increasing the resistance to dehydration as well as
to the risk of fungal diseases
The plant body cells must contain a certain
amount of water for a normal life. Water
deficiency in cultivated plants was due to using
herbicides used in intensive technologies of
cultivation of agricultural crops. The conditions
of the environment determine the sensitivity of
the plant to herbicide. Soil and climatic conditions
of winter wheat grown in the time of herbicide
treatment are important for the effectiveness of its
actions. It was found, that plants grown under
shade or high humidity are more sensitive to
herbicides than ones grown in bright sunlight and
in times of drought. During drought, and in the
open sunny spot, plant development is faster and
become more stable. On soils rich in humus, we
may grow less herbicide-resistant plants than in
soils poor in organic matter. Herbicides are
moved through the vascular system of plants with
nutrients and metabolic products, they cause
general poisoning as deformation of the stem and
leaves of the plants, growth inhibition, chlorosis,
fragility of leaves and stems, sterility, reducing
the amount of free to bound water, which is
particularly important for combating perennial
weeds that have strong and well-developed root
system. Monocots are able to immobilize the leaf
herbicides. Latency of herbicides and their
immobilization are carried out in various ways.
Elucidation of the physiological characteristics
that determine the resistance of plants to water
scarcity and the effects of the herbicides is the
most important task, the solution of which is not
only of great theoretical, but also has practical
significance
At present, the cultivation of agricultural products is on a level where the growth of productivity and quality is only possible by using the latest achievements of science. Scientists have been developing elements of agro-technologies of complex applications of growth regulators, fungicides and fertilizers in growing winter wheat, providing a significant increase in productivity and quality of agricultural products, reduction of labor costs, energy and all kinds of resources, sustainable harvesting, even in the zone of risky agriculture. Plant growth regulators have multifunctional properties, which are expressed in the regulation of plant growth and development, and in increasing their resilience to adverse weather conditions and many diseases. However, despite the fact that there are many examples of extremely high economic efficiency of plant growth regulators, in terms of production and use of pesticides are much inferior. Retardants and defoliants are used more widely. However, low rates of regulators and elicitors, the ability to manage with their help the growth and development of plants; change the resistance of plants to various external factors determines their prospects. We propose to apply the "agrochemical cocktails." It will induce the systemic plant resistance to the whole growing season, which is not possible in the case of using only one of the fungicides and bactericides. It is necessary to take into account the features of the functioning of the immune system of plants and to develop technological methods of influence on the key stages of the immune response of plants
In recent years, there is an increasing in crop losses from pests and diseases of plants worldwide. The use of different pesticides in intensive cultivation technologies of winter wheat can not resist it. Pathogenic microorganisms acquire resistance to drugs used and become more aggressive. This creates a lot of environmental problems. Plants are almost always under environmental stress. In this state, they are immunodeficient. However, it is impossible to reject pesticides completely. But pesticides are not able to replace the immune system of the plant, and in some cases are suppressing it. The article provides an overview of commonly used exogenous elicitors. We discuss the most important results of the joint use of the composition of preparations of eliciting action which are furolan and methionine. The present level of development of science has led to the emergence of new methods of plant protection, which is based on increasing the capacity of the immune plants, rather than the destruction of pathogens, as in the case of the use of pesticides. The yield increase by the use of biogenic elicitors as immunizers from 10 to 30% depending on the year, the varieties of plants and especially on infectious pathogens. The elicitors are used for soil treatment, seed soaking and plants, spraying the plants during the vegetation
