BIOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF GOLSHTINSKY YOUTH OF AUSTRALIAN SELECTION

abstract 1361802031 issue 136 pp. 201 – 214 28.02.2018 ru 332
The article presents results of a comparative study of the experimental groups of Holstein animals belonging to the Reflection Sovering line: four groups of repair calves and four groups of bull-calves. The peculiarities of their growth and development were studied at higher daily rates of drinking milk and early training of experimental animals to plant feeds with a probiotic supplement of cellobacterins in the milk period. The technology of growing the animals of the experimental groups had differences: I-control group - up to 6 months of age was grown according to the traditional technology for farming: 200 kg of milk (for 50 days) and 400 kg of return (from 50 to 110 days), concentrated feeds consisted of starter feed (50%) and (50%) maize, the same amount of concentrated feed and the same composition was obtained by calves from experimental groups; II-test group - up to 6 months of age received an increased amount of milk (for 25 days) - 200 kg and 400 kg of return (from 25 to 60 days); animals of the III-rd experimental group - up to 6-month-old age received an increased rate of milk drinking (for 50 days) - 450 kg and return (from 50 to 110 days): heifers - 600, bulls -800kg. Animals of the IV-experimental group-up to 6 months of agereceived an increased rate of milking (for 60 days) - 450 kg and return (from 60 to 120 days): heifers - 600, bulls -800 kg. The calves of all experimental groups were fed a probiotic preparation of cellobacterin in an amount of 3 g for each animal up to 18 months of age. The live weight changed significantly depending on the age and the level of feeding of the experimental animals. The use in the feeding of calves of experimental groups of increased daily average milk yields and the addition of a probiotic to cellobacterin in the diet positively influenced the growth and development of experimental young animals, promoted a more intensive increase in live weight

FEATURES OF LINEAR GROWTH OF HOLSTEIN HEIFERS OF DIFFERENT LINES

abstract 1592005021 issue 159 pp. 303 – 318 29.05.2020 ru 175
The article presents the results of studying the growth and development of repair heifers of Holstein cattle belonging to the lines Vis Back Ideal and Reflection Sovering. The feeding and maintenance conditions in both groups were the same. In accordance with the generally accepted scheme of drinking during the milk period, the heifers received 180 kg of whole milk and 400 kg of its substitution. Starting from the age of 10-15 days, the heifers were grouped into groups of 15 heads each. The live weight and average daily increments of test heifers varied differently. Linear growth and average daily gains in the experimental group were higher than in the control group. Studies have found that heifers from the experimental group in all the studied periods were superior to heifers from the control group and for the entire period, the average daily increase was 16.5 g more. The average daily increments were at the level of 747.5 and 764.0 g, the live weight by the age of the first insemination was 373.5 kg in the control group and 381.8 kg in the experimental group. Linear indicators have significant differences in height at the withers at the age of 1 insemination; depth of chest behind shoulders in 6-month age and at 1-tion insemination; oblique body length (tape) in the age of the 1st insemination; the chest girth at 12 months of age and at 1-tion insemination. The results of the study show that the cultivation of repair heifers of the Vis Back Idial and Reflection Sovering lines of the Holstein breed further contributes to an increase in the growth of dairy productivity in farms and an increase in gross milk production

GENETIC PECULIARITIES OF SYMMENTAL LIVESTOCK DROPPED OFF INTO FARMS OF THE KRASNODAR REGION

abstract 1081504041 issue 108 pp. 568 – 580 30.04.2015 ru 1202
Farms of Krasnodar region purchase cattle of milk, combined and meat direction of productivity. Imported cattle are accompanied with documents which differ from analogous ones specified in such cases by pedigree service of Russia. There were studied 1000 heads of symmental cattle of milk-meat direction of productivity imported from Austria. More than 5000 kg of milk can be obtained from cattle of symmental breed of milk-meat direction of productivity, except it they show enough high meat productivity. The analysis of accompanying documents on purchased cattle is joined not only with language barrier but with the lack of knowledge of adopted abbreviations, contractions and other attributes used by foreign breeders abroad. Having studied the accompanying documents connected with hereditary information of purchased cattle there was determined that imported heifers and their mothers were obtained in Austria, and mothers of bulls on 55,5% obtained in Austria and 41,6% in Germany. So, on formation of imported micropopulation of cattle greatly influenced the breeding school of Germany. In accordance with the adopted classification in Austria due to revealed cases of adoption of Holstein blood, there is a ground to consider the present herd as a belonging to the group of pure breed of symmental cattle and in prospect to conduct the mating of cattle with pure breed symmental oxen with the aim of absorption of mixtures of Holstein blood in pedigree. The researches determined that one can purchase the producers with characteristics of milk productivity at daughters of oxen not lower than Austrian indexes on voluminous milking and German – on milk quality, the purchase of symmental cattle from other countries must be subjected to this demand.

GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF HOLSTEIN HEIFERS BORN WITH THE USE OF EMBRYO TRANSPLANTATION

abstract 1521908024 issue 152 pp. 288 – 296 31.10.2019 ru 227
The article gives results of a comparative study of the growth and development of young cattle of Holstein breed belonging to the Reflection Sovering and Vis Baidial lines, born with the method of transplantation of embryos, and their coevals born with a standard method. Technology of growing of young cattle in both groups was identical, accepted in the economy. During suckling period, the heifers got 300 kg of full-milk. During a period from 3 to 8 months, they were contained in cages for small group maintenance, from an 8 month age, they were contained loose, on pasture grounds. Living mass and average daily increases of experimental heifers changed differently. The rates of height and average daily increases in an experimental group turned out to be higher, than for coevals of the control group. It is proved by the researches, that heifers born with the method of transplantation of embryos are equal to ones who were born with a traditional method in the rates of height and development and even excel coevals at the certain periods. In the age of the first insemination, living mass of heifers of the experimental group was 365 kg, which was 14 kg more compared to coevals of the control group. In all studied age-related periods, heifers of the experimental group excelled coevals of the control group in average daily increases. From their birth and up to 14-th month age, exceeding on increases was 37gr; to the age of the first insemination, heifers of the experimental group were more developed. Taking into account the genetic potential in heifer embryos and their best height and development, it proves the expediency of the use of transplantation of embryos

INTERIOR FEATURES OF THE REPAIR YOUNG OF HOLSTEIN BREED

abstract 1351801030 issue 135 pp. 223 – 237 31.01.2018 ru 320
The results of a comparative study of the experimental groups of Holstein animals belonging to the Vis Bey Eidial line are given: four groups of repair calves and four groups of gobies. Their hematological indices were studied at higher daily rates of milk drinking and early training of experimental animals to plant feeds with a probiotic supplement of cellobacterins in the milk period. The difference between the groups was the technology of their cultivation: I-control group - up to 6 months of the age was grown according to the traditional technology adopted in the farm: 200 kg of milk (for 50 days) and 400 kg of return (from 50 to 110 days), and concentrated feeds consisting of pre-fodder (50%) and corn (50%), the same calves received experimental calves; II-test group - up to 6 months increased norm of milk drinking (for 25 days) - 200 kg and 400 kg of return (from 25 to 60 days); III-test group - up to 6 months the increased norm of drinking milk (for 50 days) - 450 kg and return (from 50 to 110 days): heifers - 600, bulls -800kg; IV-test group - up to 6 months an increased rate of milk drinking (for 60 days) - 450 kg and return (from 60 to 120 days): heifers - 600, bulls -800 kg. The calves of all experimental groups were fed a probiotic preparation of cellobacterin in an amount of 3 g for each animal up to 18 months of age. When the experimental animals reach 12-, 15-, 18-months age, hematologic examinations were carried out. It has been established that with the age of experimental animals, metabolic processes are intensified, the change of which was influenced by the use of different norms of drinking milk during the milking period, using a probiotic
