The article provides information about the species
diversity of the family of Asteraceae in the natural area
of the Yakut botanical garden. We provide the
information about the method and the area of the
study, the description of the phytocenotic surrounding,
taxonomic analysis, areal analysis, bio-morphological
analysis (the variety of life forms) which was given by
the K. Raunkier, rhythmological analysis,
environmental analysis (by A.P. Schennikov),
analysis of phytocoenotic
We have studied the germination and the nature of germination of seeds of 20 species of FAM. Rosaceae. A wide range of germination characterizes their seeds: rapid, slow, with very poor or no germination. Laboratory germination of seeds stored at room temperature for 6-7 months have 80-100% - 8 species, 66-77% - 3, 1-9% - 4 species and 5 species did not germinate at room temperature, they need special conditions for germination
The article considers data on the stocktaking of plants
in the collection of medicinal plants of the Yakut
Botanical Garden on the following parameters: the
study of the component composition, the inclusion in
the Pharmacopoeia articles and the Russian State
Register of medicinal products. Introduction test in the
collection has been performed for 158 species from 99
genera and 41 families, currently the collection has
101 species from 79 genera and 34 families. Chemical
composition of plants is known for 61 species. 17
species are pharmacopoeal and 15 species make
medicinal products available. The rest of the medicinal
plants can be used in folk medicine. Most represented
are Asteraceae family (25), Ranunculaceae (20),
Rosaceae (16), Fabaceae (15), Lamiaceae (13), among
tested plants. According to the assessment of
introduction capabilities, 49 species in the collection
are highly stable, 51 - stable and just one is unstable
The article presents the data about flora and vegetation of
the territory of the Yakut Botanical garden, where an
ecological trail will be; there is a characteristic of plant
communities and their classification. Preliminary, the
flora of the ecological path includes 310 species of
higher vascular plants belonging to 54 families and 172
genera
The results of introduction test of species and cultivars
variety of irises in the Central Yakutia are described in
this article. Climatic conditions of the introduction
region are extreme and they are strong restrictive
factor at introduction to the culture of many other
species and cultivar of decorative plants. The condition
of plants after rewintering was estimated on a 4-mark
scale. Total number of the plants which were lost in
the first winter (0 points) is 126 species and cultivars
that is 60,9%. For 01.06.2015 year a collection of
irises in Yakutia makes 40 exemplar of species (22
species) and 31 exemplar of cultivars (30 cultivars), 7
species of them are successfully adapted (3 points)
(Iris biglumis Vahl., I. bloudowii Ledeb., I. potaninii
Maxim., I. scariosa Willd., I. setosa Pallas ex Link.,
I. tigridia Bunge, Pardanthopsis dichotoma (Pallas)
Lenz). The listed species annually plentifully blossom,
form seeds and intensive form escapes. Four species
Iris biglumis, I. scariosa, I. bloudowii, Pardanthopsis
dichotoma are form stable self-seedling
This work was carried out on the natural territories in the collection and of the Yakut botanical garden (JBG). The object of study was medicinal plants used in the treatment of cardio-vascular system. On the natural territories JBG we have noted 39 species of
medicinal plants. 26 species were studied in a culture
Investigation variability of morphological features of
Iris halophila an introduction in Central Yakutia.
Dependence of morphological variability of Iris
halophila on quantity of dropping-out rainfall in
initial habitats is revealed
The article describes the environmental conditions and plant communities with Iris laevigata for the selection of optimal locations of its growth. The structure of natural populations can be a model for the creation of artificial populations of these species
The article presents materials on studying distribution
and phytocenotic confinedness of relict steppe species
of Astragalus angarensis. Astragalus angarensis is the
endemic of the Angara region and Yakutia, it is a relict
species. Three small isolated fragments express the
area of species. The largest fragment was found in the
Angara region; the smallest two fragments are
occurred in the valley of the Lena river, in the southwest
Yakutia near Olekminsk and in the central
Yakutia, from Yakutsk to Bulgunnakhtaakh village.
Ecological and geobotanical characteristics of habit
area of Angara Astragalus is given; floristic content of
community is studied. The described desertificated
Krascheninnikovia, Psathyrostachys steppes and also
Festuca, Agropyron, Koeleria and Artemisia
communities with Astragulus angarensis confined to
slope habitats, characterized by poor floristic content
that gives evidence of low competitiveness of this
species
The article reveals luteolin-7-glucoside accumulation
in the overground part of Veronica incana L. It
assesses resource potential of V. incana depending on
the phytocenotic conditions of coenopopulations
growing in Central Yakutia. Collection of the material
was carried out during V. incana flowering in 7
coenopopulations and in the collection of the Yakut
Botanical Garden. Analysis of flavonoids content was
performed by HPLC method. The high levels of
flavonoids content in the biomass of generative plants
marked in coenopopulations that are in optimal
conditions, and the lowest - in coenopopulations
experiencing strong anthropogenic influence. In
addition, one of the factors reducing the content of
flavonoids in plants is low light intensity in habitat.
The highest resource potential on the luteolin-7-
glucoside observed in biomass V. incana, growing in
fescue grassland steppe and culture
