Questions, which are considered in the article, have been connected with the role of the Great Patriotic War in the geo- graphical, administrative and territorial name changes in the Kuban region. It is pointed out that the place names are valuable research material for the most complete study of the problem of historical and cultural heritage of the Great Patriotic War. It is noted that after the Great Patriotic War the situation, where many of the new names of geographical and administrative-territorial objects went counter to the traditional main function of the place name - address and its purpose-to help orientation in space, continued. It is shown that politically sensitive "military" place names, being an important element of the Soviet propaganda and agitation, were necessary for the ideological support of the authorities, but at the same time, allows you to save memory of the Great Victory. "Military" toponymy, which has prevailed since the end of the Great Patriotic War , carried out a living link with the past present and future. New post-war name of streets, squares, parks, alleys of cities and villages of Kuban dedicated to heroes and events of the Great Patriotic War, helped to preserve a sense of patriotism and belonging to the victory over fascism. The conclusion is that the central government continued to use after the Great Patriotic War the place names as one of the new genres of advocacy and created a new concept of "military" place name, one of the essential component of which is a moral burden that was to have political overtones

The article deals with issues related to the analysis of
the problems of historical and cultural heritage of the
Civil War, namely, the role of war in the development
of architectural and sculptural symbolism in
Krasnodar. It is stated that the historical and cultural
heritage, which is kept properly and is presented
correctly to younger generation, emerges as a
necessary means of regulation and integration of
contemporary Russian society. It is noted that the
monuments of the Civil War and its participants are a
valuable research material for the most complete study
of the problem of historical and cultural heritage. It is
said that a large number of monuments, that have
become an integral part of the appearance of many
cities of our country, are constructed after the war in
the Soviet Union. Several tens of busts, tombstones
and obelisks has been established for died military and
civilians during the war. Krasnodar was a survivor of a
terrible fratricidal war, where the main element acted
Cossacks, was no exception. Memorial monuments
and obelisks of human tragedy become an important
part of life, both the capital of the Kuban and the
entire Krasnodar Territory as a whole. They allow you
to save a vivid memory of the tragedy of the Civil
War. It is emphasized that Civil War monuments play
evident and significant role in the education of the
young growing generation now. The conclusion is that
the architectural and sculptural symbolism of the Civil
War, which is presented in Krasnodar, is multifaceted
and diverse. Today it is one of the most important
elements of patriotic education and the preservation of
the historical memory of a terrible fratricidal war. The

The article is devoted to the study of the monuments of
revolutions of 1917 in Russia. It is emphasized that from
the historical point of view, almost all monuments
represent the embodiment of the losses and sufferings of
humankind in various armed conflicts. This is especially
true for the revolutions of 1917, which changed the
entire modern history of the country, and even after 100
years cause a special interest both in the international
scientific community and among ordinary people. This
study specifies that after the final establishment and
approval of the Soviet government, the new government
realized that it was needed to create a certain basis,
namely, its political symbolism as a foundation for the
formation of image of the new government. The most
important component of this process was the desire of
the authorities to the formation of the ideas of the Soviet
people about themselves and their place in the world,
and, as a consequence, the folding of the foundations of
Soviet patriotism, because the new generation who had
no idea about the Russian Empire, began its life in the
country, which had an ideology, but just started to
develop the system of socialist values. The attention is
paid to the fact that the monuments are one of the
important elements of the historical and cultural
heritage, which reflected the past experience of
mankind, broadcast through architectural and sculptural
symbols to the present, which contributes not only to the
cultural enrichment of mankind, but also used by people
to influence worldviews contemporaries. The article

The active participation of the twentieth century intellectuals in the regional movement was caused and anxiety for the fate of cultural heritage and culture in general, and the changes in the conditions of work and life. Everywhere there were different forms of organization and scale of local history, which set themselves common objectives: a comprehensive study native land, to disseminate knowledge about the homeland of the people. The study region was closely connected with the identification, collection, accounting, protection and use of a variety of historical and cultural monuments. "Golden Age" of the national local lore came in the first post-revolutionary decade. The article deals with advocacy, organized with the
help of publications by the Bolsheviks in the 20-ies of
XX century in the Kuban. It is noted that the press has
performed as one of the most important and effective
means and played a huge role in the establishment of
Soviet power in the Cossack region. The central
agency of procurement and distribution of print
"Centropechat" at the Central Executive Committee
occupied the distribution of official media. It is stated
that the content of propaganda and agitation conducted
among the civilian population and in the army was
determined, above all, as the military-political
situation that prevailed in the 20-ies. It is shown that
agitation and propaganda carried out by the military
newspapers and magazines in difficult conditions and
post wartime and the specific tasks were set before the

The article examines the artistic life of the country in the
post-revolutionary period, which was characterized by
the active creative work, diversity and to some extent
inconsistency in culture. It is emphasized that the coup
that took place in 1917, provided the impetus as the
development of certain areas in the arts and cultural
sector in general. It is concluded that the main feature of
art as a component of the revolutionary culture of the
country was to maintain the ideas of the Bolsheviks and
the promotion of the new government, as well as the
submission of the new government of each of the areas
of cultural activity in Russia. Attention is focused on the
fact that the development of art and culture in such
difficult and tense post-revolutionary years in the
country not only did not stop, but even continued to rise.
The Bolsheviks understood the specific role of art,
which manifests itself in the fact that it acts as a means
of social and psychological impact. After all, art gives a
person an opportunity to relive their lives of those who
made history and now works. Therefore, it becomes
clearer and more accessible sense of political, class and
economic relations a lot is through the art. The culture
of the country after the fateful October originally
reflected the changes in the country and the time itself is
filled with a variety of events. Every type of art in its
own way conveys the spirit of the era, the atmosphere
reigning in the post-revolutionary society. The article

The article describes the creation and use of the national literature and national Circassia’s language, as a major factor of Sovietization of the North Caucasus in the process of integration of the region in Soviet geopolitical space in the 1920s-1930s. The article is made in the framework of regional competition: "The North Caucasus: Tradition and Modernity" in 2014 - the Krasnodar Territory. 14-11-23007 Project Type "(p)", the theme: "The Role of the national intelligentsia in the incorporation of the North Caucasus in the Russian geopolitical space of the. Nineteenth century. - 20-ies. Twentieth century. (based on the Adyghe people). " It is pointed out that the development of the national writing by Circassian intelligence became not only an important matter of national life of Adyghe people, but also a key part of the national policy of the Soviet authorities towards national minorities. It is noted, that in many respects, revolutionary events in Russia became one of the most powerful external factors that stimulated the revitalization of Circassian intelligentsia in the development and diffusion of national literature. It is shown that in the course of the policy of "language building" in the national autonomies within the first twenty years of the Soviet government the graphics based writing changed three times (Arabic, Latin, Russian) and three times they were eliminating illiteracy. The conclusion is that intellectuals deprived of the possibility to solve these issues, and a key influence on the development of national literature evolution of Circassians had views of the Bolsheviks in the language policy. In general, the issue of writing, mostly related to the problem of education in specific historical circumstances, has acquired great social and political importance, and has become an important part of the national policy of the Soviet government in matters of Sovietization of the North Caucasus
The article deals with the forms of agitation and mass
art, the creation of which was authorized by the
Bolsheviks in the 20ies of the XX century for effective
advocacy activities. It is noted, that agitation and mass
art is one of the most important and effective means of
policies and has played a huge role in the establishment
of Soviet power. Propaganda direction was manifested
in the both of drawing and painting and was aimed at the
formation of a new proletarian thinking in a socialist
society. It is stated, that the content of works of art is
determined, above all, by the military-political situation
that prevailed in the 20-ies. It is shown, that in the works
of art displayed figures of the new revolutionary themes,
events and characters, but also significant presence of
the image of the new man - working men and women,
sailors, soldiers, peasants was traced. Festive decoration
of cities and towns, from the capital to the smallest
provincial towns was filled with agitation and
propaganda content. The conclusion is that artistic and
political design of squares, streets, public buildings
should help to create a festive mood, increase
employment, ideological and socio-political activity of
the workers. In general, new forms of agitation and
propaganda were created through art, by turning the
novelty of content, depth of the emotional impact,
thematic literacy and specificity for the necessary
psychological mood of society during the study period
