TRAMINER BLACK - NEWEST WINE AROMATHIC GRAPE VARIETY WITH COLORED PULP AND JUICE

Newest breeding aromatic grape variety with colored pulp and juice is Traminer black bred in Athens Viticulture Institute (Greece) P.Zamanidi, L.Troshin and L.Maltabar in 2007 by crossing the Ukrainian (Odessian) black varieties (Alicante Bouschet x Cabernet Sauvignon) with the European Traminer pink. According to the morphological and physiological characteristics related to the group of Western European varieties. Length of production period 136-145 days. The strength of growth shoots is strong (2,1-3,0 m). Productivity is high. The average weight of bunch 200 grams. Characterized by a high resistance to cold, drought resistance and increased resistance to fungal diseases in comparison with common varieties of Vitis vinifera L. Flower is hermaphrodite. Clusters are short or medium, conical, sometimes with wing, average density. Berry is small, round, blue-black coloring, with a thick waxy coating. Peel thick, dense, durable. Pulp and juice intensely colored, with a taste of Gewurztraminer. Content of sugar is very high: in the bushes on the stale grapes reaches more than 40%. Prolonged preservation of crop on bushes. Sort intended for manufacturing intensely colored dry red wines of excellent grade and high-quality sparkling, dessert, sweet wines and liqueurs, and is suitable for high-quality juices. When used in blends with other varieties, enhances coloration, completeness of taste and improves the bouquet of wine

AGROBIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SOME DON VARIETIES IN CONDITIONS OF THE ANAPA-TAMAN ZONE IN THE VITICULTURE OF THE KRASNODAR REGION

The article presents a study on agro-biological and technological indicators of Don indigenous wine grapes in the conditions of the Anapa-Taman area of the viticulture of the Krasnodar region. It was found that the introduced varieties are consistent with the conditions of the area and can be recommended for growing in production plantations in southern Russia. On ripening, the varieties are as follows: the early ripening varieties are Sibirkovy; a group of middle-ripening - Aligote, Plechistik, Varyushkin; to the medium-late - Bessergenevsky 10 and Krasnostop Anapsky. Highest yield was proved to for such grape varieties as Bessergenevsky 10 (150 kg / ha) and Varyushkin (140 kg / ha). Test grapes of Aligoté and Krasnostop Anapsky showed an average yield of 120 and 130 kg / ha, respectively, red and Sibirkovy Plechistik - 140 and 135 kg / ha. Comparing the current literature with the results, we noted the following notable differences: all the studied indigenous wine grapes in the conditions of the Anapa-Taman area of the Krasnodar region matured earlier, had higher productivity indexes and gave higher yields, than in the conditions of their homeland Rostov region

STUDY OF AROMATIC CONTENT OF DIFFERENT BRANDIES MADE IN ARMENIA

Brandy alcohols from the grades of Muscat Berkatu, Kakhet and mixes of white grades of grapes became objects of researches. The content of some aromatic components of wine alcohols was investigated using the device of a gas-liquid chromatography Clarus-400 (with the ardent and ionization detector, a capillary column, 60 m x 0,32 mm, Elite-WAX ETR, gas-carrier-helium). Muscat alcohol according to the general content of aromatic substances (919,35 mg / 100 ml a.a.) was different from the other studied samples at the expense of the high content of ethyl acetate and izoamyl alcohol. As a result of the organoleptic analysis of a blend samples it was allocated a brandy blend with the following ratios of alcohol and wine - a blend alcohol – 74,37 %, liqueur wine – 25,63 % with strong muscat aroma and shades of taste

In the presented article we deal with the recently enhanced group of researchers under the name of COST ACTION FA 1003 – cooperation in science and technology http://www.diprove.unimi.it/GRAPENET/index.php), previously developed and published by three organizations - OIV (International Organization of Grape and Wine - МОВВ), UPOV (international Union for the Protection of Achievements of crop production) and IBPGR (International Commission of Plant Genetic Resources), which was renamed later into the IPGRI (International Plant Genetic Resources Institute) and named recently IPGRI - typically built guidelines for the descriptions of the objects of research - the so-called classifiers of plants. It contains the Russian-language version of the reflected descriptors #401-462 on the evaluation of stability of plants of grapes to the soil, and biotic and abiotic stressors, when they are used to speed up the modern selection process. AMPELOGRAPHIC AND BREEDING RESEARCHES OF KUBAN STATE AGRARIAN UNIVERSITY

The report, presented by 18-20.09.2012 in Gaylvaylerhofe / Germany at the European meeting of Ampelography ECPGR in international cooperation of the COST project, provides the information about the collection, the study and the storage of wild grape vines, as well as indigenous and selected varieties in the National ampelographic collections of Russia, nowadays containing 3,220 specimens of 42 countries, 191 of which were oppressed with phylloxera. The modern zoned assortment of grapes in Russia (according to the State register of breeding achievements of the Russian Federation) with the most common areas of local and introduced varieties is examined. The summary of the impact of the clonal selection of the classic industrial engineering classes, conducted by the author’s original technique, as well as the achievements of combinative breeding of the actively breed resistant varieties is given. Moreover, their reproduction at the level of selected protoclones or elite breeding forms (candidate variety) was conducted with in vitro method

MODERNIZATION OF ASSORTMENT OF TA-BLE VITICULTURE FOR FARMS AND HOME-STEAD VITICULTURE: PERSPECTIVE VARIETIES

This article highlights the characteristics of twelve perspective table grapes for Eurasia with color photo-graphs of yielding bushes, young arms, leaves, clusters and berries; it presents the results of the five-year study in an industrial environment of OJS AF "South" and "Phanagoria-Agro", "Kuban" training field and branches of the Department of viticulture of Kuban State Agricultural University, and the amateur farmer conditions of private entrepreneurs of Kuban, Don and Ukraine: Citrine, Academichasky K, Rochefort K, Libya K, Anthracite, Preobragenie, Dolgojdanny, He-lios, Bogatyanovsky, Kubattik, Nizina and Chrizolit. These varieties are the basis of modern conveyor of table varieties and are recommended to be included into the State register of breeding achievements of the Russian Federation in all regions of our country.
