INFLUENCE OF PROTECTIVE COATINGS UNDER DIFFERENT STORAGE CONDITIONS OF GARLIC BULBS

The influence of protective coatings on quantitative loss of garlic was investigated at its warm) and cold storage under various conditions of relative humidity. The following varieties of garlic people's selection were studied: winter varieties – Tian Shansky, Otradnensky; spring varieties – Sochinsky and Iglinsky Local. Paraffin-ceresin composition (PK-1) was first proposed as a protective hydrophobic coating of garlic bulbs and its combination was scientifically based (the main component is paraffin, plasticizer is Ceresin C-65 and surface-active supplement is a fraction of synthetic fatty acids). Physical and mechanical performance properties of PK-1: melting temperature 58 C; resistance at 20 C 1,0 МПа; volumetric shrinkage 15%; plasticity 0,5·10-4 1/МПа; water vapour permeability 6,5g/m2 per day.Waterproof properties of hydrophobic protective coatings (paraffin-ceresin PK-1, alloy of paraffin with beewax PК-4, paraffin without supplements P) were compared with hydrophilic water solution of polyvinyl alcohol PWS-5. According to the increase of the moisture-proof properties, the investigated coatings form the following series: P. PWS -5, PК-4, PК-1. The maximum efficiency of garlic storage under various temperature conditions and relative air humidity was achieved when using a protection film of PК-1. Compared with control (without coating) PК-1 reduced moisture loss in garlic bulbs for 3-13 times depending on the variety, and storage duration of winter garlic varieties increased for 2 times. Iglinsky Local is the most moisture resistant of all the investigated varieties, and Tian Shansky variety is less moisture resistant

INFLUENCE OF PROTECTIVE COATINGS ON GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF ONION CROPS

The influence of protective coatings on changes in the biological characteristics of quality, germination, plant growth and development of the onion crop quantitative loss of garlic was investigated for the first time. The objects of research were winter garlic called Tien Shan and onion of Allan variety. Water solutions of polyvinyl alcohol PWS-5, paraffin coating Р, paraffin-cerezin composition PK-1 were studied as a protective coatings. Coating onions and chives before planting them in the ground delay germination, respectively at 1 and 2 weeks. Then, protective coatings act as growth stimulants. The greatest increase in green mass of garlic for 3 months (almost 2 times) compared to the control (uncoated) prepared using the hydrophobic coating РK-1. РK-1 increases the yield of garlic and onions in 1.5 times, and the seeds of onions in 1.3 times. It is recommended before planting onions to cover onions the PK-1 in order to prevent his fall germination and receive further large bulbs weighing 130-131 g. Carbohydrates, starch, vitamin C, and life-giving moisture garlic, it is best stored in a РK-1 coated serve after planting in soil more efficient power plant. As a result, such plant grows better, develops and gives higher yields

INFLUENCE OF RATES AND COMBINATIONS OF MINERAL FERTILIZERS ON YIELD OF CORN AND AGROCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF FERTILITY OF THE LEACHED CHERNOZEM OF WESTERN FORECAUCASUS

For the purpose of preservation of soil fertility at relatively low economic expenses, we have conducted researches on optimization of doses and combinations of mineral fertilizers by cultivation of field corn hybrid called "Krasnodar 382" in a stationary field experiment of the Department of agrochemistry in the training farm "Kuban", in the conditions of the leached chernozem of Central zone of the Krasnodar region. The main impact on receiving high-quality corn gives the content of plant nutrients in soil. Our researches showed that the application of the complete fertilizer in various doses has had influence on the content of essential plant nutrients in the soil. The maximal values of the content of mineral nitrogen, available phosphorus and exchangeable potassium during all phases of vegetation have been got in options with double N60P60K40 and triple N90P90K60 dose of the complete fertilizer. Sufficient supplying the soil with plant nutrients by fertilizing has entailed the enhance of corn yield. Great crop of corn has been reaped during the experiment. After three years of researches, the productivity has reached averaged 58,7 cwt/hectare. The greatest productivity has been received in the option with application of triple and double dose of the complete fertilizer and amounted 68,5 and 68,0 cwt/hectare, what is 47% and 45,9% more, compared to the option without any application of fertilizers. The main substance, which defines nutritional value of corn, is proteins. Application of fertilizers under the conditions of our experiment has promoted enhancing the protein content in corn. The application of mineral fertilizers has promoted increase of the content of crude protein in corn. Maximal it was in option with application of the complete mineral fertilizer in the double dose of N60P60K40 – 9.6%, when reaped protein has amounted 6,5 cwt/hectare. Therefore, it is possible to conclude that it is most expedient to fertilize field corn with the dose of N60P60K40 and N90P90K60

INFLUENCE OF SILYMARIN IN LIPOSOMAL FORM ON THE QUALITY OF BROILER MEAT

The article presents the results of the investigation of the influence of liposomal form of silymarin on the physicochemical parameters of the meat of the broiler chickens of the cross called Hubbard F15. The objects of the investigation were: pectoral muscle, the preparation called Liposil, which consists hepatoprotective agent of silymarin, extracted from milk thistle in the form of dry extract and soy phosphatidylcholine. Milk thistle is known as a source of bioflavonoids, and has long been used in folk medicine for diseases of the liver. High bioavailability of silymarin, due to the liposomal form, makes it possible to use it in lower doses in comparison with the form of an extract. The experiment of liposome silymarin used a dose of 40 mg / kg of feed discretely (5-7 th, 12-14 th, 19-21 th and 28-30 th day) and daily as a supplement to the basic diet during growth of broiler chickens of Hubbard F-15. We have established, that Liposil increased tryptophan content in the muscles and improved the protein-quality quotient. We have found decreased fat content and caloric value of pectoral muscle of experienced group chickens. The findings suggest that we have a positive effect of liposomal silymarin on nutritional and dietary value of meat

INFLUENCE OF STOCKS ON YIELD AND QUALITY OF GRAPES AND WINE OF RKATSITELI VARIETY

The article presents results of the six-year study of the effect of stocks Berlandieri × Riparia Kober 5BB and Chasselas × Berlandieri 41B on yield, quality of grapes and wine Rkatsiteli in the central zone of the Krasnodar region. Effect of stock on the scion strongly depends on the annual weather conditions. In a given year, there is a stock, better adapted to the weather conditions. Stocks of Chasselas × Berlandieri 41B increases winter hardiness variety Rkatsiteli. On average, during six years the stocks have not been resulted in significant difference between the percentages of developed into shoots buds and fertile shoots shown in the coefficients of fruiting and fruitbearing shoots Rkatsiteli. Among all the influencing factors, the degree of influence of stocks is 0.1-0.4%. Some differences in forming of generative organs of wintering buds along the fruiting twig under the influence of stocks do not lead to significant differences in biological terms of fruiting varieties in the whole piece. On average, six years of significant difference in the effect of stocks on the average weight of the bunches, and the yield is not defined - the degree of influence of rootstocks on mentioned indicators is 0,1-2,1%. A significant impact of stocks on the dynamics of sugar accumulation in berries has not been discovered. The degree of influence of stocks on to the final sugar content and acidity of berries is 0.3 and 14.5%, respectively. The wine produced from Rkatsiteli berries on a stock Berlandieri × Riparia Kober 5BB has the better tasting score than on the stock Chasselas × Berlandieri 41B (7.5 and 7.4 points, respectively). The main influence on fruiting of the variety Rkatsiteli was provided by the conditions of the current and previous vegetation. Within the conditions of the central zone of the Krasnodar region the cultivating of the variety Rkatsiteli is reasonable for both studied stocks
