USAGE OF SEEDLINGS FOR RECEIVING ULTRAEARLY HARVESTS OF POTATO

Using of seedling method for growing early potatoes accelerates the starting processes of growth and development of plants, and the application of temporary covers of the nonwoven covering materials protects the landing from sudden temperature changes and relapsing frost. To receive seedlings of early potatoes we used standard seed tubers of 60-80 g weigh of the following varieties: Agata, Red Scarlett, Kislovodskiy, Vershininskiy and Sheri. By the time of planting in the ground, depending on the varieties, the height of seedling was from 13 to 26 cm, the number of leaves - 7-10 pieces. Conducting of trial unearthing of potato showed that on 45 days after transplanting into the ground (the second decade of May), it is possible to receive up to 10, 5-11, 4 t/ha (Agata and Red Scarlett varieties). On 55 days (the third decade of May), the yield reached 26, 4 t/ha of standard tubers, and in the first decade of June the yield was from 26, 4 to 50, 6 t/ha. The maximum yield of standard tubers of 50, 6 t/ha was obtained by lifting on 65 days with the Red Scarlett variety. In the terms of the Astrakhan region the growing of early potato by seedling method with using of temporary cover allows to receive the ultra-early harvest of marketable tubers in the II-III decade of May

TRAUMATIZING OF INSIDE STRUCTURES OF WEEVILS AS A FACTOR OF REDUCTION IN SEEDS’ PRODUCTIVITY OF CEREAL CROPS

Productivity of seeds of cereal crops essentially depends on the quality of the seed grain, which is being defined both by biological condition of seeds and technologies and technical resources, which are being used in, machine processing of seed heap. In this connection, different injuries of weevils which are occurred while mechanical and thermomechanical influences from tools of machines and aggregates have got vital importance. Apart from the breaches of integrity of the weevil’s cover there are also exist traumatizing changes of its inside structures which are frequently covered with casings and do not being viewed with visual inspection. Conditions of inside structures of weevils were researched with radiographic method and also were defined possible types of traumatizing changes which depend on mechanical and thermomechanical influences, which were eliminated in universal classification of injures among the inside structures of seeds of agricultural cultures. Also, wу have analyzed the influence of chosen types of injuries on seeds’ sowing qualities and found that all injures of weevils essentially and differentially influenced the sowing and fruitful qualities and should be considered while choosing the technological schemes of preparation, working tools and while tuning the aggregates’ regime of work attached to the machine processing of grain and seed heap

TRAPSA –PERSPECTIVE WINY HIGH QUALITY BLACK BERRY GRAPE VARIETY OF GREECE

Trapsa is a Greek native variety. It belongs to the variety group of the Black sea basin (convar. pontica subconar. balcanica Negr.) ,has limited spreading. The length of productive period is 156-165 days. Variety is medium-sized. Degree of cane maturation is high. Productivity is very high. Percentage of fruitful tillers is 90. The average mass of clusters is 500 g. It differs with high drought resistance and average resistance to fungi diseases. Under bud germination is recognized by crown of green color with winy-red shadow, with strong webby swelling. Plate of a leaf is large, dark-green shadow, form is pentagular, with five lobules, top surface of plate is honeycombed. Cluster is large, conic and compact. Flesh with nice variety after taste. Berry is average size, round, navy-black color. Sugar content is high. Variety is for making of high quality red wines of different categories in southern zones of grape-growing with hot and dry climate.

TRAMINER BLACK - NEWEST WINE AROMATHIC GRAPE VARIETY WITH COLORED PULP AND JUICE

Newest breeding aromatic grape variety with colored pulp and juice is Traminer black bred in Athens Viticulture Institute (Greece) P.Zamanidi, L.Troshin and L.Maltabar in 2007 by crossing the Ukrainian (Odessian) black varieties (Alicante Bouschet x Cabernet Sauvignon) with the European Traminer pink. According to the morphological and physiological characteristics related to the group of Western European varieties. Length of production period 136-145 days. The strength of growth shoots is strong (2,1-3,0 m). Productivity is high. The average weight of bunch 200 grams. Characterized by a high resistance to cold, drought resistance and increased resistance to fungal diseases in comparison with common varieties of Vitis vinifera L. Flower is hermaphrodite. Clusters are short or medium, conical, sometimes with wing, average density. Berry is small, round, blue-black coloring, with a thick waxy coating. Peel thick, dense, durable. Pulp and juice intensely colored, with a taste of Gewurztraminer. Content of sugar is very high: in the bushes on the stale grapes reaches more than 40%. Prolonged preservation of crop on bushes. Sort intended for manufacturing intensely colored dry red wines of excellent grade and high-quality sparkling, dessert, sweet wines and liqueurs, and is suitable for high-quality juices. When used in blends with other varieties, enhances coloration, completeness of taste and improves the bouquet of wine
