X-RAY ULTRASOUND COMPARISON AND DYNAMIC SONOGRAPHIC CONTROL OF PNEUMONIA IN CHILDREN

abstract 1041410112 issue 104 pp. 1610 – 1624 30.12.2014 ru 1422
Comparative analysis of the informativity of ultrasonic and radiographic examination of the lungs at the initial diagnosis of inflammatory infiltrate and at case followup of its involution during treatment was performed in 154 children with pneumonia. Higher informativity of ultrasound compared with radiography was determined. All children underwent ultrasound monitoring of pneumonia since admission to the full restoration of normal ultrasound image. Assessment criteria of pneumonia involution were the size and echostructure of an airless zone. Stationary ultrasound was performed at least 3 times. Outpatient ultrasound was repeated at least 2 times within 1 month, in some cases children were observed up to 3 months with monthly dualfold study

VAGINAL MICROECOLOGY IN WOMEN WITH METABOLIC SYNDROME IN CLIMACTERIC PERIOD

abstract 1171603054 issue 117 pp. 833 – 840 31.03.2016 ru 1021
The aim of the research is to study the peculiarities of vaginal microbiocenosis in female patients with metabolic syndrome during peri- and postmenopause. 320 women in the climacteric period aged of 45-70 were examined. Two groups were formed: the main group (160 female patients with metabolic syndrome), the control group (160 women without metabolic syndrome). The average age of women 54.5 ± 7.2 years. Depending on the length of menopause each of the two groups was divided into three subgroups.Microscopy of vaginal smears, the colpocytological analysis, the culture test of vaginal discharge were conducted. The statistical processing of the results was carried out with the help of programme sets Microsoft Office 2010 (MicrosoftExcel) and «STATISTICA® for Windows 6.0». A tendency of decreasing frequency of non-specific vaginitis with aging and of increasing frequency of vaginal atrophy, disorders of vaginal biocenosis (lactobacillus deficiency and the domination of conditionally pathogenic microorganisms) was discovered. The frequency of vaginal atrophy in women with a length of postmenopause of 10 years and older was 65.9% in the subgroup of in female patients with metabolic syndrome and 63.6% in the subgroup of female patients patients without it. The more observable changes in vaginal biotope were found in women with metabolic syndrome

TRANSCRIPTOMIC ACTIVITY OF ESTROGEN-REGULATORY GENES IN MALIGNANCY UTERINE TISSUES

abstract 1151601017 issue 115 pp. 294 – 304 27.01.2016 ru 1055
Uterine cancer is the sixth on prevalence of cancer among women in developed countries. Hyper-estrogen level by endogenous or exogenous origin plays the leading role in this disease pathogenesis. This study purpose was investigating the expression of genetic loci responsible for the estrogen reception and metabolism to better understanding of the molecular mechanisms of uterine tissues malignancy. We investigated the relative expression of genes (CYP1A 1, CYP1A 2, CYP1B 1, CYP19A, ESR1, ESR2, GPER, STS, SULT1A and SULT1E1) by real-time PCR in tumor and conditionally healthy uterine tissues of 27 female patients in Southern Russia aged 38-72 years with histologically confirmed diagnosis of uterine cancer. It is found that transcription activity of these genes during malignancy of uterine tissues depends of female patients age and the stage of tumor cells differentiation. It is found that malignancy change in the transcriptional activity of investigated genes in uterine tissue depends of patients age and stage of tumor cells differentiation. Particularly, it was found, that changes of gene transcription balance of enzymes that provide sulfation and hydrolysis of steroid sulfates is depending of patient age and the degree of tumor cells differentiation. In addition, the sinking of gene expression of nuclear estrogen receptor ESR1 as lowering cell differentiation of tumor tissues. We have also shown gene expression of nuclear estrogen receptor ESR1 decline as lowering cell differentiation of tumor tissues

THE ROLE OF THE TRANSCRIPTION AND ANGIOGENESIS FACTORS IN THE PATHOGENESIS OF PURULENT POSTOPERATIVE COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH ORAL MUCOSA CANCER

abstract 1281704023 issue 128 pp. 330 – 341 28.04.2017 ru 873
While studying the content of hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha and vascular endothelial growth factor in the tumor tissue, oral fluid and peripheral blood of 141 patients with oral mucosa cancer T1-3N0-2M0, it was shown that the development of purulent inflammatory postoperative complications in patients with oral mucosa cancer is associated with an increased expression of HIF-1α in the tissue and its translocation from the cytoplasm to the nucleus, activation of the neoangiogenesis processes. It is informative to determine HIF-1α factor in the blood serum, which, for further development, can be used as a non-invasive diagnostic marker to predict the postoperative course in this category of patients

THE ROLE OF GAP JUNCTIONS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ASTROCYTIC HUMAN BRAIN TUMOR

abstract 1051501028 issue 105 pp. 472 – 490 30.01.2015 ru 1364
Recently, much attention is paid to research the role of cell-cell interactions by gap junctions in the process of malignant transformation and mechanisms of antitumor resistance. Meanwhile, the greatest interest is astrocytic tumors. Depending on the degree of malignancy, astrocytomas are divided into: pilocytic astrocytoma (Grade I), subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (Grade I), pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma (Grade II), diffuse astrocytoma (Grade II), anaplastic astrocytoma (Grade III), glioblastoma (Grade IV ) gliomatosis cerebri (Grade IV). Information of literature devoted to astrocytic tumors (gliomas) - the most common brain tumor in large part obtained in studies in cell cultures and different contradictions. Along with data on the reduction of glial tumors cells communicability through GJ, there is evidence of an opposite character - a functionally active GJ in gliomas and inhibition of tumor growth by reducing intercellular communicability by GJ. However, up to now there have been no studies of the effect and function of hemichannels in cancer cells, which would provide detailed information on: 1) the characteristic of presence and relative abundance of hemichannels in cancer cells; 2) evaluation of absorption / release of hemichannels mediated molecules in tumor cells than in non-tumor cells; 3) functional consequences of activation and blocking of hemichannels in tumor cells and 4) the prognostic value of the expression / activation of hemichannels in human malignancies

THE POSSIBILITY OF THE DETERMINATION OF SINGLE NUCLEOTIDE POLYMORPHISMS AND HLA-GENOTYPING OF EMBRYONES ON THE BASIS OF THE GENETIC MATERIAL OF THE BLASTOMERES IN THE PROGRAMS OF PREIMPLANTATION SCREENING

abstract 1341710008 issue 134 pp. 99 – 114 29.12.2017 ru 1204
The research shows the possibility of extended preimplantation genetic screening (PGD) that allows to improve the strategy of selection of embryos that satisfies not only the requirement of the absence of chromosomal abnormalities, but also includes their additional check for predisposition to various diseases, as well as the choice of the embryo with the most optimal HLA haplotype in cases with expressed compatibility of parents for HLA-genes
