The purpose of the article is to analyze the factors
affecting the process of interaction, the nature of relationships
and everyday life of the Russian and Belarusian
communities. Use the ideas of the system, interactionist,
phenomenological and sociopsychological
approaches. The empirical base totaled
questionnaire data of the Russian population of the
Krasnodar Region; secondary analysis of sociological
data of Russian and Belarusian research teams.
Knowledge of the factors and content of the mutual
influence of ethno-cultural practices of Russian and
Belarusian ethnic communities will help to predict
the interactions and facilitate their consolidation and
integration
The article deals with influence of the institution of
family on the transgressing experience in its various
forms. The problem is quite relevant in view of the fact
that the society gets out of structural limitations.
Increasingly, social actors step over the border, which
for many ordinary people are considered immutable,
violate generally accepted course of events, the
established norms of behavior and morality. In this
regard, the authors discuss the phenomenon of
transgression as an integral part of modern society,
which is understood as a strategy to overcome social
taboos, violation of cultural traditions, moral and
religious regulators. In addition, the transgression may
be regarded as a manifestation of freedom. Freedom
from rules, regulations, prohibitions, including
religious ones. And then it is quite possible the
emergence of such a phenomenon as a religious
transgression. The authors give a definition of
religious transgression, which is the process overstep
religious prohibitions designed to separate the man
from his immersion in faith, radical overcoming taboos
of religion, the transition from one religion to another.
The article presents the results conducted in 2016 a
search of sociological research on the basis of
Astrakhan State University. Based on these studies, the
authors conclude that it is the family becomes the
unifying factor that helps in keeping the values in the
course of religious transgression
In this article, a family is considered as a basis of
modern society. As a result of the theoretical and
methodological analysis, there was determined that a
family is a form of a social system of a state making
impact on the personality from birth to death, by
means of formation and change of social,
psychological, cultural, ethical bases, differing by
means of united economic space, moral
communications, interrelationships. Owing to social
and economic, political, psychological changes of the
country, the life of the population and the model of a
family were changed, so the economy of family
business turned into individual economy of societies
that led to the development of a consumer relation of
a society, economic recession, deterioration of
ecological situation of environment. Proceeding from
selective inspection of budgets of households, there
was revealed that the more children in a family, the
worse it’s standard of living, so in full families at the
appearance of one child the standard of living
decreases by 16%, the second child – for 30%, the
third – for 50%. According to Rosstat, there was
defined that the living conditions also depend on a
number of children in a family. On average, better
living conditions are at the citizens living lonely with
34 sq. m of living space, the share on a family from
three people – 11 sq.m of living space on the person.
Different forms of support are given for improvement
of life quality of large families by the state. In the
article, there was considered one of the key forms of
the state support – improvement of living conditions
of families having three and more children, namely
granting of free of charge land plots in property and
providing them with necessary infrastructure. There
was offered the alternative mechanism of the solution
of housing problems of large families which
realization will allow to reduce a social inequality of
different segments of the population, will provide the
rejuvenation of the nation, both in demographic, and
in socio-cultural value
In the article, we consider transformation of domestic
households. The reasons of emergence of antinuclearization
of a family are described and negative
influence of these households on demographic safety
of the state is revealed. Researches of the Russian
scientists regarding changing of family structure of
the population of Russia are considered and
analyzed. We have proved an impact of housing
problems on development of structure of a family.
The basic principles of a state policy providing the
solution of housing questions are offered
In the article, we consider the influence of mass
media on relationship of society with public
authorities. As a result of the theoreticmethodological
analysis the place of the press in
modern society is designated, namely, we revealed
that mass media are the specialized state institute
having continuously developing technical and
creative potential influencing providing the world
and progress of a civilization. Impact of mass media
on economic and political consciousness of the
population is proved. For a sustainable development
of the region, the mechanism providing by means of
mass media effective interaction of citizens with
authorities is offered
The article discusses the interpretation of the
mechanisms of modernization of the American scientist
- Samuel Huntington, which sees modernization as a
complex process with a very uncertain result. As a
representative of the multilinear approach, Samuel
Huntington proves the uniqueness of the modernization
paths of each individual national system
This article analyzes the representations of modern
youth of heroism as the basis of patriotic and civic
education. Special attention is paid to consideration of
the transformation of the concept of "heroism", reduce
the social significance of the feat in the consciousness
of modern Russian society. Value of creating an image
of the hero as a way of formation a sense of patriotism
and learning patterns of social activity necessary for
the creation of a civil society is analyzed. On the basis
of sociological research among students of higher
education institutions of Krasnodar, the understanding
of the essence of "heroism" and attitude to the heroic
deeds is revealed. The connection of this social
phenomenon with a set of personal lines and moral
qualities of the person is established. The most
favorable for commission of feats spheres and the
personalities applying for a role of heroes for today's
younger generation are defined. The authors draw a
conclusion about the existence of student’s interest in
the phenomenon of heroism and the passive need for
the formation of a distinct image of the hero on a basis,
both the celebrated historic figures, and
contemporaries. In addition, discrepancy in a number
of answers of students is noted, indicating the absence
of a modern young people a clear idea of heroism and
heroic acts, their importance in personal development.
This, in turn, complicates and slows down the process
of forming a high sense of patriotism and high civil
activity
Sociology is one of the most important social
sciences. Mathematical and primarily statistical
methods are effective intellectual tools of
sociologists. Let us analyze the work of the author of
this article on the development of statistical methods
to meet the challenges of sociology. Then we give
the review of development of statistical methods in
Russian sociology for 45 years (1970-2015). The
basic scientific events of these years, first of all, were
formation of applied statistics and its basis - statistics
of the non-numerical data (in sociology of 70-90% of
variables have non-numerical nature). Over the last
30 years, the Russian sociology has been growing
rapidly in all quantitative parameters. Clearly, the
depth of investigation gives the use of advanced
scientific apparatus - methodology and methods of
data collection and analysis, mathematical models. In
our view, a fundamental breakthrough was made in
our country in the 1970s. It was then in the arsenal of
Russian sociologists appeared measurement theory
and fuzzy sets, mathematical methods of
classification and multidimensional scaling,
nonparametric statistics and statistics of non-numeric
data. In subsequent decades it has been a natural
development of scientific apparatus. The same
mathematical and statistical methods and models can
be successfully applied in various fields of science
and practice. Statistical methods and models are very
effective in sociological, socio-economic,
managerial, technical and feasibility studies,
medicine, history, in almost any industry and
application areas of knowledge. Within this field, the
main event of the last thirty five years - is becoming
a scientific and practical discipline "Applied
Statistics", dedicated to the development and
application of statistical methods and models. An
analysis of the dynamics of applied statistics leads to
the conclusion that in the XXI century the statistics
of non-numerical data is becoming a central area of
applied statistics, as it contains the most common
approaches and results

have allowed to analyze the degree of democratic
principles implementation in Russia and its role in the
modern world, as well as to identify the most urgent
problems affecting Russian society in general and
respondents in particular. On the basis of the survey
data, the author makes a conclusion about immaturity
of political consciousness and catastrophically low
level of citizen activism among students which
