The main structural units of the University are
departments; the results of their work influence the
quality of knowledge, skills and competence of
graduates and the image of the University. The article
reveals the reasons of unproductive interaction of the
departments with divisions, providing educational
process; it also discusses suggestions that will improve
the performance of the main indicators of assessment
of the efficiency of activities of the University. It is
shown, that a systematic approach is the basis in the
organization of work of structural divisions of the
University, but it is difficult to implement, if managers
and supervisors do not have authority. To improve the
quality of graduates and their demand in the labor
market, it requires exempting the Department from
administrative work. These functions can be redirected
to the management, departments and services with
modern electronic information processing system. To
achieve high results in training in-demand graduates is
possible when the offices and the departments will
work as a team with the lecturers, in cooperation and
understanding
The article elucidates reasons for the falling prestige of
higher technical professional education in Russia and
based on their analysis we propose measures aimed at
raising the status of technical specialists. These
activities include: development of a strategic plan of
development of higher professional education, a
system of vocational guidance of graduates of
secondary educational institutions; improvement of
quality of preparation of scientific-pedagogical staff
and development of effective system of training of
teachers; the quality of the educational process and
development of effective system of training of
graduates; development of objective criteria for
assessing the effectiveness of universities;
development of a system of Patriotic education of
students of secondary and higher educational
institutions; increase of salaries of specialists,
influencing the country's economic development, the
status and prestige of the profession of high school
teacher. It is necessary to develop a strategic plan for
the development of higher professional education
urgently since the first part of young professionals will
be ready only after 4 years. Nevertheless, retraining
and advanced training of specialists of technical and
technological disciplines needed for the development
of modern techniques and technologies, including
foreign ones, we can start today. The implementation
of the considered measures will allow to raise prestige
of higher technical professional education and quality
training of students
The article reveals the shortcomings of adopted criteria for performance evaluation of universities and offers science-based indicators to assess the ability of the university to organize the quality of training of graduates
The article reveals the content of pedagogical work
activities for teaching staff in the main activities of the
Department (academic, educational, methodical,
scientific and organizational-methodical work). We
have offered a rational standard time for their quality
execution, allowing improving the quality of training
of university graduates. It is proposed to consider
additional classes and consultations in the burden time
of teachers, as well as the norms of time for
preparation for publishing educational and scientific
literature, development of training, methodological,
logistical and organizational-methodical work. It is
shown, that the participation of teachers in researches
and development with the aim of earning money for
the University reduces the level of the educational
process. To improve the quality of training of students,
we have offered a number of key measures that needed
to be organized by the Ministry of education and
science of the Russian Federation, and also, by
employees of the administrative apparatus of
universities
The article considers one of the most important issues of the work of the head of department - organization of personal work and relations with employees of the department from which generally depend the results of operations of the department
The article discusses the features of design and
operation in the different modes of functioning of
autonomous hybrid power plants based on renewable
and traditional energy sources. We have given a
structural scheme of such a plant. It is shown that the
algorithm of the system in the autumn-winter period
should be adjusted according to the monthly
monitoring; and standby generator of independent
source can be run at a deeper discharge of batteries. It
is known that the most expensive and the weakest link
in the solar PV plants is rechargeable battery. In
addition, the larger the number they have in the
system, the more complicated the fulfillment of all
conditions of proper operation is. We have proposed
to extend the lifetime of batteries through the use of
passive balancing, which allows to increase the
reliability of operation and reduce the cost. It is
shown that a real possibility of improving the
technical and economic performance of autonomous
hybrid power plants is their execution on the basis of
solar photovoltaic power plants. We have also
discussed the features of construction and operation
of hybrid power plants, which will increase the
efficiency of preliminary works on development of
high-performance structural circuit design of the
stations
The high speed of solar energy development in the
modern world allows us to assert that in the near
future it will become one of the main sources of
electricity. The authors describe a classification of
solar power plants, which can be of two types –
thermodynamic and photovoltaic, as well as the
features of design and operation of these plants. There
is a structural and schematic solution of autonomous
solar power stations and ones operating in parallel
with the external power grid. The features of their
design and operation, including the main advantages
and disadvantages were shown. It is shown that to
improve the reliability, including uninterrupted power
supply, a promising direction is the development of
combined systems which in addition to the solar
power plant may use wind power, gas or diesel
power, etc. In addition, such stations may provide
power from the external power supply. We have
given one of the variants of structural designs of
combined systems of energy and disclosed
recommendations for the design of energy-efficient
combined systems of power supply, made using
renewable and conventional sources of electricity.
The final version of the combined system of
electricity supply and the degree of participation of
traditional and renewable energy sources in electricity
production is determined on the basis of the analysis
of the energy balance and electromagnetic
compatibility of the main functional elements of the
system
In the article, the main shortcomings of organizational and methodical work of the higher school reveal, which interfere with effective work of the chair – the main division of the higher education institution which is carrying out training of specialists for various branches. The complex of the actions directed on quality improvement of preparation of students in the
engineering directions is offered
In the article, we introduce the criteria for the estima-tion of energy and economic efficiency of renewable energy sources as well as of its application and using in the Krasnodar region. Also hereby the main goals are examined and the plan of development of renew-able energy in the region is proposed
In this article we have examined the following is-sues: structure flowcharts’ settlements and opera-tional peculiarities of converters and stabilizers of electrical parameters of wind power plants, solar power plants and mini-hydropower plants. All tech-nical decisions are covered by patents of the Russian Federation
