BIOTECHNOLOGY OF TRICHODERMA-BASED FEED ADDITIVE WITH CELLULOLYTIC PROPERTIES

abstract 0931309078 issue 93 pp. 1146 – 1164 30.11.2013 ru 1572
In the work, we have presented the information of elaboration of a manufacturing process of Mycocel feed additive with the cellulolytic activity for poul-try industry. Manufacturing process includes follow-ing steps: stock culture maintenance and storage of Trichoderma lignorum 81-17, growing fluid culture of microscopic fungus in sucrose yeast extract me-dium, feed additive with cellulolytic properties out-put and quality control, packaging, storage and disposal of waste. We have shown that the Mycocel is non-toxic feed additive for protozoa and warm-blooded animals (laboratory mice and quails). This study demonstrated total population livability in the experimental group with feed additive. Quail body-weight of experimental group was higher by 6% as compared to the control and feed consumption per 1 kg of live weight of bird was 3,58 kg, 7,5% lower than the control

FUNCTION FEED ADDITIVE OF CAROTE-NOID VEGETABLE RAW MATERIALS FOR POULTRY

abstract 0931309079 issue 93 pp. 1165 – 1184 30.11.2013 ru 1321
The article is concerned with the use of functional feed additives from pumpkin fruits and alfalfa juice for the poultry industry. In the study of laying hen it has been found that the use of a feed additive in-creased pumpkin paste content in serum and egg yolk carotenoids is more than two times, and the concentration of vitamin A in these tissues increased slightly, not exceeding 20%. Livability and productivity of poultry increased and average expendable fodder per head per day decreased. Economic calculation showed that the use of pumpkin paste reduces the cost of production of eggs. The use of alfalfa juice coagulates in diets for broiler chickens resulted in an increase in the concentration of carotene in the liver by 22,7-46,8% relative to control. The juice addition also increased the content of vitamin A in the liver by 27.9%, increase the safety and efficiency of the bird. The authors draw certain conclusions from experiment results that the use of functional additives in poultry from the fruit of pumpkin and alfalfa juice is an alternative to synthetic vitamin preparations and produce a more environmentally friendly products

PROBIOTIC TRILAKTOBAKT IN FEEDING OF QUAIL

abstract 0951401004 issue 95 pp. 58 – 81 30.01.2014 ru 1884
During experiments on quail it was found that use of Trilaktobaktis probiotic is characterized with the activation of major types of metabolism, including protein –by increase the total protein content (5.17%) and mineral – by increase serum calcium and phosphorus (2.71 and 19.5%, respectively); by decrease of cholesterol content (10.6%). Probiotic stimulates erythro and hematopoiesis in quail: increase of the number of erythrocytes by 2.93% and hemoglobin by 2.57% was marked. Preparation enhances nonspecific resistance by increasing lysozyme and serum bactericidal activity by 47.4% and 149.6%.Besides, use of Trilaktobaktin diets increases digestibility of organic substance (5.74%), raw protein (3.95%) and raw fiber (4.83%). Probiotics use in the diet of quail improves nitrogen digestion by 5.3%, calcium and phosphorus – by 1.4%. Under the influence of probiotics content of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteriain chyme of quail increases by 46.2%.Use of Trilaktobaktin quail breeding increases safety and live weight gain by 6.0% and 6.9%, reduces the cost of feeds to produce 1 kg of body weight by 7.4%, and carcass yield reaches 66.4%, providing 100% output of first category carcasses. Use of Trilaktobakt feed additive has a positive effect on the quality of meat products. Thus, carcass output was 57.1% and the amount of fat decreased by 14.4% (pectoral muscles) and 12.7% (leg muscles) relative to the control. At the same time protein content in the thoracic and leg muscles increased by 7.5% and 10.7%

PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY PECULIARITIES OF LUCERNE JUICE COAGULATES

abstract 0951401005 issue 95 pp. 82 – 102 30.01.2014 ru 1086
During the study of different methods of fractiona-tion of alfalfa juice it was established that the most effective preservative of Lucerne juice is a composi-tion containing 2% of stock culture of lactic acid bacteria, 2% of molasses and 0.3% of benzoic acid, which preserves the functional properties of protein-vitamin feed additive

SESONAL FACTORS AFFECTING PRODUCTION OF MYCOTOXINS IN GRAIN RAW MATERIAL

abstract 0961402076 issue 96 pp. 1119 – 1138 28.02.2014 ru 1868
Based on the analysis of 422 samples of compound feeds and grain for processing of different farms of the Krasnodar region, we have established the level of their natural mycotoxin contamination and also identified prevailing combinations. Regularities of the frequency of contamination have been presented as well

BIOLOGICAL VALUE OF PLANT PROTEIN AND VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS

abstract 0971403088 issue 97 pp. 1245 – 1274 31.03.2014 ru 1264
Results of the use of plant protein feed additives containing pumpkin paste and soybean seeds of different varieties for quail are presented in the article. It was established that the use of such additives on the basis of Valens soybean allowed to receive higher growth parameters than groups treated with Vilan soybean additive

EFFECT OF GERMINATION OF THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND ANTINUTRIENTS CONTENT IN SOYBEAN SEEDS

abstract 0971403089 issue 97 pp. 1275 – 1298 31.03.2014 ru 1525
It was established that water absorption of soybean seeds does not depend on the variety. And in the beginning it has an active character, providing the increase in mass of seeds on 80-140% after 12-14 hours. Subsequently, hydration intensity decreases and mass reaches 110-160% of the original. Electroactivated water increases the level of hydration in comparison with tap water (anolyte – 10-18%, catholyte – 5-9%). Furthermore, in the process of germination of soybean protein content increased by 4-12% and fat – 7-16%. Inhibitor content thus decreases by the same amount, and does not depend on the variety. Thus, consideration of the varietal characteristics of soybean seeds during germination allows how to reduce energy consumption for processing and to reduce the degree of destruction of nutrients

BIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT OF ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE HERBAL FEED ADDITIVES FOR QUAIL

abstract 1041410107 issue 104 pp. 1520 – 1541 30.12.2014 ru 728
The work on the study of the biological assessment of environmentally safe herbal feed additives for quail has found in the supplement that contains the seeds of soybean varieties Valens, the bird had higher growth rates than in the supplement of soybean varieties Vila. Using as a protein-based supplement autoclaved soybean Valens varieties increases the profitability of meat quails from 22.52 to 28.76%, and the economic effect when used - to 32.5 rubles per 1000 quails compared with the addition made from soybean of Vilan varieties
