In the article, we have stated the agro-technical requirements to a pre-seeding processing of soil. The results of experiments of the combined soil-cultivating unit are resulted. Operating modes of the unit with optimum width of capture, uniformity of a surface of soil, quality of crushing the soils meeting agro-technical requirements are proved

The article analyzes the existing classification of leveling devices and their design features. We have found that currently the form of the seed layer is achieved with harrowing cultivation in 2 ... 3 tracks , leveling and packing rollers in 3 ... 4 passes units on the field, which leads to an increased cost of fuel, living labor, as well as compaction of arable and subsoil layers of the soil. We have also proved a constructively scheme of a com-bined device capable to form the seedbed in accordance with agronomic requirements in a single pass
