THE RESULTS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF CATTLE EMBRYOS TRANSPLANTATION

abstract 1211607138 issue 121 pp. 2177 – 2211 30.09.2016 ru 826
The results of the analysis of the level of implementation of the method of cattle breeding by embryo transfer in an agricultural company from the Krasnodar region with a developed sector of cattle breeding. We have assessed the level of development of all stages of the method in the household, identified errors in the selection of animals and the increased value of culling donor cows and recipients, reduced duration of using recipient cows and high cost of all phases of the transplant process. We have raised a question of the need to change the criteria of economic evaluation of the results of the method

THE INDICES OF REPRODUCTION IN THE HERD OF MILK CATTLE IN “KUBAN” AGRICULTURAL HOLDING

abstract 1221608078 issue 122 pp. 1125 – 1162 31.10.2016 ru 450
The article contains complex research results dedicated of reproduction the cattle of the animal breeding industry in the agricultural holding called “Kuban”. Key indicators characterizing reproductive function at cows were set; they were estimated in terms of the plans of the economy in the milk cattle breeding industry. The reduced values of the birth-rate of calves were revealed on 100 cows and in the term of the production use of cows, their main reasons were set. The performed calculations prove the possibility of increasing the profitability of milk production

TECHNOLOGY OF PLANT FEED ADDITIVES FOR POULTRY

abstract 1041410108 issue 104 pp. 1542 – 1566 30.12.2014 ru 1467
The work on the development of technology for production of feed additives from soybean seeds and fruits of pumpkin has shown that the use of sodium bisulfate and lactic acid bacteria provide a high content of carotene in pumpkin paste (948 mg / kg and 819 mg / kg, respectively), and grinding soy before drying protein and vitamin supplements raises safety of carotene without destroying the urease

STATE AND PROSPECTS OF TURKEY BREEDING IN FARMS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ECO-PRODUCTS

abstract 1211607139 issue 121 pp. 2212 – 2245 30.09.2016 ru 495
The article contains generalized information on the activities of peasant farms in cultivation of turkey for meat using outdoor technologies. The production is cost-effective, although the rates of live weight gain and the cost of feeding do not reach the requirements for the cross. There are some reserves to improve the profitability (introduction of floor cell technology, optimization of feeding and participation in government support programs)

The article contains the summarized information on the activity of a farm having a sector of “Agrotourism”. There was revealed the positive dynamics of development of agricultural tourism in the Krasnodar region, the extension of offered services in this direction; there was set the obstacles restraining the development of the present sector. RESULTS OF CALVING AND THE COMPOSITION OF THE BLOOD OF HEIFERS OF SIMMENTAL BREED, MOVED TO THE TAMAN PENINSULA FROM THE ASTRAKHAN REGION

abstract 1341710107 issue 134 pp. 1350 – 1367 29.12.2017 ru 354
The article contains data on results of calving and blood tests of heifers moved from the Astrakhan region in the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar region in the condition of early pregnancy. According to the accompanying documents, cell blood count, hemoglobin and biochemical parameters were consistent with species and age normal. Calving took place without complications and did not require delivery; received 36 of 36 calves from cows. The quality of the calves found to be satisfactory. On the 45th day of service period, clinical signs of impaired health status were present in 2 animals, however biochemical markers of liver disease, inflammation, and anemia was identified in 7 heifers. In the context of work on creation of livestock combined milk and meat productivity of inseminated heifers and heifers of the Simmental breed the Simmental semen (25 cows) and Aberdeen Angus (34 cows) breeds. Fruitfully inseminated 55 out of 60 animals; indicator of severity of calving was 8 % for Simmental cows. Calves of Simmental breed and Simmental-Aberdeen Angus cross-breeds meet the requirements for live weight at birth and the exterior. Farming on the formation of herds of milk and meat direction of productivity are found to be effective

PECULIARITIES OF NON-INFECTIONAL ARTHRITIS IN GROWING POULTRY IN AN INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT

abstract 1051501065 issue 105 pp. 1075 – 1097 30.01.2015 ru 1198
The problem of industrial poultry farming is the emergence of a growing birds’ arthritis. Inflamed joints are usually seen in poultry and accompanied by the inability to take food and water. The most characteristic of this problem in broiler chickens, young chickens of egg cross, i.e. birds of a short period of use. This is the reason for their rejection of the herd. Culling chickens are 10%, which furthermore reduces the total amount of livestock and leads to a reduction in the cost-effectiveness of growing birds. The analysis of our data gives a reason to believe that the main reason for culling poultry is acute inflammation of the joints or arthri-tis. According to the authors to ensure optimal rearing program, which should include the prevention of premature retirement of birds not only due to infectious diseases, but also the prevention of metabolic disorders and the exclusion of factors that could cause disruption of immunological reactivity. Currently, this program needs to be improved, which is particularly important in relation to vaccine pre-vention

MONITORING OF GLYCEMIA IN COWS FOR THE DETECTION OF PRIMARY METABOLIC DISORDERS IN THE TRANSITION PERIOD

abstract 1211607140 issue 121 pp. 2246 – 2287 30.09.2016 ru 613
The article contains a synthesis of modern views on the problem of ketosis and related metabolic disorders. We have given evidences of the exceptional role of hypoglycemia in the development of progressive metabolic diseases of cows during the transition period. The necessity of implementing a program for critical period with mandatory control of glycemia was substantiated

INFLUENCE OF DURATION OF THE FIRST LACTATION PERIOD OF SOWS ON REPRODUCTIVE QUALITY

abstract 1221608079 issue 122 pp. 1163 – 1199 31.10.2016 ru 774
The article contains research results on the influence of duration of the first lactation period of sows on reproductive qualities. The authors have detected basic problems which reduce indices reproduction of purebred pigs of the breed of Yorkshire and hybrids of F1 (Yorkshire x Landras) under conditions of a new complex. It was found that because of the increase in duration of lactation period of the sows it is impossible to increase the safety of the piglets with a reduced live mass (from big nests and slow in growth) and improve the reproductive quality of sows. This method has been used in the economy what led to a notable improvement in the indices of pig breeding
