abstract 1151601075 issue 115 pp. 1180 – 1193 27.01.2016 ru 470
The article discusses the contemporary agrobotanical illustration, as an integral part of scientific and educational work. For the analysis of the issue, we set up the basis of illustrative images, which acted as the test material. It has been shown that visual images serve as the material for the development of visual thinking students are taught to read information, which represents the worksheet, to think and to create something new. The article considers art of graphics pencil using a computer-drawing program with processing in Photoshop. There are mixed techniques (mixed media), based on the use of traditional drawing and herbarium specimen, processed in Photoshop in the color. Another new direction of contemporary agroillustration is infographics. Its using in educational and scientific process is determined by the fact that infographics involves analytical processing of quantitative data obtained during the experiment. On the other hand, the data is needed to visualize, execute and present. A new direction in contemporary agro-botanical illustration is plant images taken with X-rays. The modern level of requirements to create images is high enough and it must be taken into account when carrying out scientific experiments, when it is necessary to demonstrate the object of research results. Modern agroillustration can be processed using various systems of artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, for example, the system named “Edos”

SOVIET AGITATION TEXTILE IN THE HISTORY OF AGRONOMY

abstract 1111507013 issue 111 pp. 236 – 247 30.09.2015 ru 806
The article considers questions connected with the history of popularization of agricultural knowledge through the agitation textiles. Agitation textiles are similar in content to the propaganda posters, as well as propaganda porcelain. The issues of emergence of the given kind of art are examined in the work. Agitation textile or agit-textile appeared in Soviet Russia in the 1920s. Its authors were members of the textile section. Agit-textile has several titles: themed fabric or agitation tissue, but the essence remains the same - it is a bright, imaginative reflection of the era of great transformations expressed in electrification, industrialization, changes in the military and sports, collectivization. In contrast to the construction of industrialization, the theme of agriculture required an entirely different approach. Even common problems for the country in the village are of particular color. Here it was necessary to not just agitate for something new: it was required to patiently explain why the new better than the old, to prove that it is necessary, inevitable. It is better to see once than to hear many times. The article has shown the history of the agitation textiles, goals and objectives, an illustrative range of tissue samples, as well as an analysis of the agitation textile appearance in 1970 on the example of solving a specific problem

abstract 1091505029 issue 109 pp. 500 – 511 29.05.2015 ru 818
The article focuses on the forms of transmission of knowledge in agronomy. We can separate verbal or word form, literary, through books and visual, through the works of art. In this regard, the porcelain is treated as a separate independent resource of information on the history of agriculture in the period from 1917 to 1975. In the study of the history of the popularization of agronomic knowledge in Russia we included visual images of porcelain taken from the catalogues of private collections, books, photographs of exhibitions and illustrations. As a tool of the analysis method we used sketches and visual notes. This article has a brief review of the history of the development of porcelain in our country and we have emphasized the Soviet propaganda porcelain. In the studied period we were highlighting another distinct type of porcelain - peasant porcelain, where the focus was on the images of life and living conditions of rural workers. In the database of images we included the works of leading artists such as N. Dan'ko, V. Kuznetsov, S. Chekhonin, R. Vildie, Z. Kobyletska and many others. In the agitation porcelain there was a reflection of several areas: gathering fruit and vegetables; harvesting; a reflection of village life and rural life; exhibitions and fairs; the theme of work and leisure in rural production. Visual analysis of small forms on the example of images of harvesting showed the most common crops (grapes, cotton, tomatoes, apples, various vegetables). Image of fruits and vegetables are a documentary reflection of the history of spreading and introduction of a number of crops in different agroclimatic zones of the country. Thus, porcelain is one of the sources of information on the history of agriculture in our country, covering a certain period from 1917 to 1975, acting as a separate resource, which clearly reflects the bygone era

SOVIET POSTERS IN PROMOTING AGRONOMIC KNOWLEDGE

abstract 1071503097 issue 107 pp. 1493 – 1511 31.03.2015 ru 850
We attempt to combine professional agronomic knowledge with familiarity with graphic art presented in the form of a poster in the paper. The term "poster" is considered a large loose-leaf edition, combines visual and typographic elements and execute graphic communications. The main idea of the poster is to convey the information to the reader quickly and accurately. In the study of the material we have formed complex scientific and educational resources on the history of agricultural science, including the history of the popularization of agronomic knowledge. In our work, the poster is treated as an object of analysis, as the material of social and cultural analysis and as a tool to gather information on the development of agronomic knowledge through their visualization. In the course "History and methodology of scientific agronomy" one of the competencies of students is familiarity with the methodology popularization of agronomic knowledge, understanding of what is happening. In this regard, an attempt was made to consider the Soviet poster as a source of information on the development of scientific agriculture in the period from 1917 to 1980. The aim was to analyze the main events of this period, elements of the technology of agricultural production, species and varietal diversity of crops, as well as various events in the agricultural sector. The article considers four basic types of posters: promotional, political, instructional, scientific and educational. Each of these types of posters performs its function. The poster covered all stages of agrarian sector of the country, was a historical reflection of the Soviet period and always remained mobile, online and popular art form. Today, his role is small, because it has changed the ways of presenting information. THE USE OF HUMOROUS DRAWINGS IN THE COURSE OF "HISTORY AND METHODOLOGY OF RESEARCH AGRONOMY"

abstract 1061502031 issue 106 pp. 500 – 511 28.02.2015 ru 1037
The article discusses issues related to humorous, ironic, satirical figure, which is one of the kinds of fine art. Forms, styles and genres graphs of this type were reviewed. The classical method of analysis has been used in the article, only the subject of the analysis was images of various phenomena in agronomic practice. Basic definitions of humorous illustration, showing the history of its creation are presented. In the example of drawn short stories by Dutch artist Herluf Bidstrup we show possibilities of using a humorous picture as a good example of observation of the development of plants. We have marked characteristic features of modern cartoons - the ability to largely reflect the concerns associated with the development and application of new technologies in the agricultural sector and economy. Towards a new form of comic drawing we can consider a meme as a unit of cultural information. The caricature is as follows-known work is presented in an entirely different semantic perspective, it is like tracing paper for lighting any problems. The emphasis is on the possibility of using intelligent and ironic drawings in the teaching discipline of "History and methodology of scientific agriculture" for better learning, remembering and propaganda agronomic knowledge
