SPECIFICATION OF SOUND TRANSMISSION IN THE LITERATURE FAIRY TALE (ON THE MATERIAL OF KS LEWIS'S FAIRY TALE "CHRONICLES OF NARNIYA")

abstract 1321708111 issue 132 pp. 1367 – 1374 31.10.2017 ru 1129
The article is devoted to the analysis of the features of the translation of onomatopoeic sounds when translating a literary tale on the material of the fairy tales of K.S. Lewis "The Chronicles of Narnia." The work compares the English literary fairy tale and its translation into Russian in order to reveal the laws of the translation of onomatopoeias in the literary text. The article points out that in children's literature a special role is assigned to onomatopoeia when creating an indirect characterization of the character, describing its emotional state, a certain atmosphere. Four lexical groups of onomatopoeias are thought to be widely represented in the fairy tales "The Chronicles of Narnia" written by K.S. Lewis: imitations of sounds produced by human beings; imitations of sounds produced by animals and birds sounds; imitations of sounds of natural phenomena; imitations of sounds of inanimate objects. Translation of onomatopoeias into the text of fairy tales can represent a certain problem for translators. The article substantiates the specificity of the equivalents selection of the English-speaking onomatopoeic vocabulary in Russian language. It emphasizes the special significance of the transfer of author's onomatops, which can be translated either by transcription or by variant correspondence. The conclusion is drawn that in most cases the translator seeks to select a standard onomatop as a translation equivalent, which will naturally enter the narrative fabric

abstract 1311707121 issue 131 pp. 1462 – 1469 29.09.2017 ru 756
Anthropocentric orientation of modern linguistics determines the central place of the person and speech acts in scientific research. The speech is the main tool for the teacher to promote effective communication and its harmonization. Therefore, it is important in the process of pedagogical communication to select the communication strategy that will enable faster and more productive to achieve aims. The article considers several definitions of communication strategies (O. S. Issers, I. N. Borisova, Y. V. Sorokina, Y.Y. Pospelova, O. V. Philippova), which are based on the basis of aim setting. The communication strategy will be defined as a complex of speech acts aimed at realizing a specific communicative purpose. Despite the fact that pedagogical communication is characterized by a certain (though rather extensive) range of objectives, there is not a single point of view about the list of strategies of academic discourse in the scientific literature at the moment. Among the most respected, quoted it is possible to allocate the theory of V. I. Karasik (explain, evaluate, promote, organize, and control strategies), N. A. Antonova (imperative, informative, communicative and regulating strategies), M. A. Prisyazhnova (informative, regulatory and contact-establishing strategy), M. Y. Aleshkov (information-justifying, manipulative-consolidating, expressive-appellative and monitoring and evaluation strategy). VARIABILITY OF A PSYCHOTHERAPIST’S SPEECH TACTICS AS A FACTOR OF EFFECTIVE PERSUASION

abstract 1291705008 issue 129 pp. 93 – 105 31.05.2017 ru 726
Combinability of psychotherapist’s speech tactics used in the context of a therapy session is considered. Psychotherapeutic discourse is distinguished from similar notions of medical discourse and therapeutic discourse. The specificity and sequential organization of speech tactics are determined by the character of the interaction in the dyad “therapist – client”, which is categorized as oral unprepared semi-official nonpublic speech. The rationale for using tactics with therapeutic effect is to induce the reappraisal of the problem situation in the sphere of the addressee. Speech tactics form a syntagmatic sequence, based on the evaluative modus of the state of affairs: moving from a negative appraisal to a normative appraisal (normalization tactic); from a normative appraisal to a positive appraisal (positivization tactics). Psychotherapist’s speech tactics are an immediate response to the client’s preceding speech move. The repertoire of psychotherapist’s speech tactics includes justification, compliment, praise, joke, exaggeration, compensation, advice, warning, sympathy, definition, dissociation

abstract 1291705021 issue 129 pp. 237 – 254 31.05.2017 ru 564
This article was written in the mainstream of modern Lingua-pragmatic research and is dedicated to the analysis of the criteria for selecting keywords during the formation of a search query. The choice of this type of Internet communication is due, first of all, to the fact that the search query is a text consisting entirely of keywords, aside from that search query is used in everyday speech practice regularly and often. The article suggests possible criteria for the selection of keywords; we have developed a technique for analyzing the search query in a communicative aspect. The main methods studies were continuous sampling of the material, linguistic experiment and semantic and communicative analysis. Particular attention is paid to the difficulties arising in the analysis of requests in which the producer's intention is not clearly expressed. The results of the research are important for understanding the linguistic essence of the keyword, the principles of the formation of search queries and can be used in the analysis of keywords in different types of texts. abstract 1291705058 issue 129 pp. 783 – 792 31.05.2017 ru 783
In this article, the mythological archetype of Mountain is depicted in the interpretation of peoples of different epochs. The comparative analysis of archetype of Height, namely the Mountain in the R.L. Stevenson and R. Burns creative work is carried out. The archetype of Mountain has power and authority; it is changeable, bright and fully depicts the archetype of Height. Mountain is the abode of silence, modest witness, symbol reflects the desire of a man to reach height and hover over the earth. The archetype of mountain is versatile, unsteady, authors transform it, but in all cases, it accumulates the great power of energy, strength, it reflects fear and veneration. Moreover, the archetype of Mountain has all the indications of ambivalence. The examined mythologem is analyzed in Russian tales. abstract 1281704019 issue 128 pp. 285 – 298 28.04.2017 ru 570
The basic terms important for the linguistic and cultural studies analysis such as "word picture of a character" and “linguistic and cultural character type” are described in the article altogether with the analysis of the relationship between these concepts as exemplified in the novel "The Godfather" by M. Puzo. The cultural component of literary texts focuses on the cross-cultural pragmatics, underlining the method of linguistic and cultural character type modelling as it is a personalized artistic concept with an intertextual character. The research highlighted that the given method draws excessive attention to common features of the considered characters, therefore, partially ignoring certain characteristics possessed by individual characters. There are good reasons to add the research of the word picture of the character as a part of the individual author world picture to the method. The article explains the rationale of a contaminated term "linguistic and cultural image" as the best one explains the individually expressed features of character, ethnoculturaly determined

RESEARCH ON THE SO-CALLED THIEVES' NOTIONS FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF FUNCTIONAL-PRAGMATIC TYPOLOGY OF LINGUASEMIOTIC EXPERIENCE

abstract 1271703002 issue 127 pp. 61 – 78 31.03.2017 ru 643
The article focuses on the place of the (Thieves') Notions in the hierarchy of values in criminal activity from the viewpoint of functional-pragmatic typology of linguasemiotic experience. The Notions are intentions (intentials) that correlate to the upper (The Thieves' Law) and lower (Limits/Thieves' Commandments) levels of the hierarchy of values. The Notions were described in diachronic aspect with regard to their place and esoteric functions in the Master Felons' Law. The functional-pragmatic typology was aimed to show the differences in the ways of distribution of reference features (categorization processes), what reflects in formalization (ritualization and folkization) of social behaviour. Such approach was based on a panchronic connection of the idea of informational kind to the idea of energo-material kind. When correlating with the upper level of the hierarchy of values, the Notions can be considered a Random Access Memory connected to a slow encoded memory of greater capacity (The Thieves' Law). The Notions provide for a faster reaction of an individual when making a choice in criminal activity
