In the article, the results of the researches of total evaporation, the modes of irrigation and the productivity of corn on grain in the conditions of a steppe zone of the Republic of Northern Ossetia-Alania are presented. The empirical dependences characterizing relationships of cause and effect in system: “hydroweather conditions - an irrigated agrobiocenosis”, allowing to improve methodology of irrigation planning and to increase accuracy of irrigation planning, taking into account existential variability of climatic factors are presented
