This article discusses the issues of improving public resource support grain producers. It substantiates the role of the Altai region in the formation of the domestic grain market. The peculiarities of state support in terms of Russia's membership in the WTO are shown. The comparative characteristic of state regulation of the grain market in the developed countries is presented. We also propose an algorithm to determine the resource support of the producers of grain in the modern world
