Due to the wide spread of winter barley varieties with
different Phytopathologic characteristics, a serious
threat to the crop is dwarf rust caused by a pathogenic
fungi of the Puccinia. The article presents the results of
phytosanitary studies conducted in different agroclimatic
zones of the North Caucasus region for the
period from 2013 to 2015. Electronic maps of levels of
development and distribution of dwarf rust are based on
phytosanitary inspection. On the experimental field
called «Kuban» as well as rust nursery of VNIIBZR we
have performed an immunological evaluation of the
sustainability of winter barley accessions to the
pathogen of the dwarf rust on natural and artificial
infectious backgrounds in the period from 2013 to
2015. The article reflects the objective characteristics of
varieties and lines of winter barley with a relative
stability to the North Caucasian population Puccinia
hordei. The most promising varieties and lines of winter
barley of the KubGAU breeding were selected during
operation. These varieties and lines are highly resistant
to rust and dwarf, they also have other valuable
features. The article presents information on the best
yield varieties and lines of winter barley as well as on
gross yield and sowing area
The article brings the results of three-year studies of the
influence of the periods of sowing on productivity of
new varieties and lines of winter barley
Results of three-years of examining the collection material of winter barley of different ecological-geographic origin are brought in this article. We have also allocated sources of high grain productivity, winter hardiness and precocity for further use in breeding programs
The article presents the results of bio-energetic and
economic evaluation of alternative technologies for
cultivation of winter wheat, developed in long-term
stationary experiments at Kuban State Agrarian
University. We study the effect of four factors on the
productivity of winter wheat, quality of soil, fertilizers
system, systems of soil tillage and systems of
protection. We have processed the data for 7
technologies in two rotations of 11 fields grain-grass
crop rotation in the Central part of the Krasnodar
region on leached black soil of plains of the
agricultural landscape. We have established, in the
first crop rotation, on the example of varieties of
Batyka and Krasnodarskaya 99, that there were
changes in costs of production, net profit and the cost
of 1 centner of grain, depending on the technology,
and the comparative evaluation of bioenergy impact of
alternative technologies of winter wheat cultivation to
consumption energy costs total energy. We have
calculated ratio net of efficiency depending on the
technology of cultivation of winter wheat. On the basis
of economic and bioenergetic calculations for farms
with different level of economy we have proposed an
alternative technology: for economically strong,
economically average, economically weak farms and
for farms located in protected areas where is
prohibited the use of chemicals. Thus, producers have a choice of alternative technologies of winter wheat,
which will contribute to maximizing profits and
obtaining competitive products
The article presents data on the morphological and biological characteristics of Agrodeum varieties, the results of the competitive test were shown, as well as the adaptability of varieties to different conditions of cultivation and the main indicators of quality of new grain varieties
