ANALYSIS OF TERRITORIAL DIFFERENTIATION OF GROWING POTATOES IN THE BRYANSK REGION IN CURRENT ECONOMIC CONDITIONS

abstract 1582004002 issue 158 pp. 13 – 26 30.04.2020 ru 174
The article defines the importance of growing potatoes in the Bryansk region. We carried out spatio-temporal re-search of the condition of the industry and identified key shifts in its development over the past 10 years. The pro-portion and its shifts were showed as well. We calculated ranking of administrative areas for potato production in general and by individual categories of farms for the period from 2008 to 2018. It allowed us to find out rates of spatio-temporal movements. The analysis showed increase of concentration and differentiation of growing potatoes in the region

EROSION ZONING OF THE TERRITORY OF THE BRYANSK REGION: THE EXPERIENCE AND CONTEMPORARY PROBLEMS

abstract 1281704092 issue 128 pp. 1309 – 1319 28.04.2017 ru 335
The article analyzes the experience of zoning of territory of the Bryansk region on the main factors of erosion to select the measures to combat it. The Bryansk region in its present borders, mainly representing the middle course of the Desna river, has been considered safe in relation to erosion. The existing zoning is based on the quantitative characteristics of the processes of erosion that primarily allowed us to assess the scale of their impact on nature and the region's economy. The erosion zoning was performed on the basis of the map of erosion-prone land. As a result of study and analysis of all natural factors of erosion and land of the region under study the regularities of distribution of land erosion and intensity of spring rainfall and soil erosion are detected. Under the leadership of Filin V. I., a survey of the ravines of the region was conducted and made the scheme of erosion zoning, according to which the region is divided into three areas. It is noteworthy Horinas E. V. research. When divided into areas it was taken into consideration the need for each of them specific actions to combat the causes and consequences of erosion in relation to the peculiarities of the latter in each district. According to the intensity of the erosion processes and physico-geographical zoning of the Bryansk region and the nature of agricultural land use, specialists of the Bryansk branch of the Institute "Rosgiprozem" produced erosion zoning of the territory of the region, which highlighted seven erosion regions. From the variety of methods for zoning, the most appropriate in our view are created, based on the estimated small-scale (medium-scale) maps of erosion of land, capable of performing the function diagrams of erosion zoning

LANDSCAPE FEATURES OF EXISTENCE OF SOIL EROSION ON AGRICULTURAL LANDS IN THE BRYANSK REGION IN THE TRANSFORMATION OF CLIMATE

abstract 1171603030 issue 117 pp. 490 – 499 31.03.2016 ru 376
The article has considered the influence of modern climate changes on the intensity of erosion processes within the boundaries of the basic landscapes of the region. It has given the results of the spatial distribution of the rainfalls. The most noticeable climate changes of the Bryansk region are reflected in the decrease in the activity of erosion during snowmelt due to the lower amounts of snow and soil frost depth. In the area, the dynamics of rainfall does not detect a single trend. The processes of erosion and deflation are studied in the relationship, the manifestation of these processes on the territory of the Bryansk region. It has published the results of the risk analysis of erosion and deflation on forest soils of the region and justified the application of G. V. Bastrakov’s method for modeling erosion-resistant agricultural landscapes. This approach has a number of advantages over the other known methods. In our case, regardless of soil and climatic and geomorphological conditions, the challenge is to ensure such events in which erosion resistance of the land will not be below a critical value. The research results are the initial data in designing soil conservation activities on the territory of the Bryansk region. The obtained data of the erosive properties of soils from climatic changes enable the study and forecasting of the development of agricultural landscapes of the region in the medium term
