The article has indicated the problem of the growth of
document organization on the example of higher
educational institution FGBOU "Kuban state
technological University". Based on years of practice,
the author conducted a detailed analysis of activity of
service of documentary maintenance of management
of the University and detailed analysis of the structure
of the document taking into account the specifics of
the direction of the organization. The article sets main
tasks of service of the DOE, the actual problems of
transition to paperless documentation of the
organization's resources. We highlight problems of
management and use of documents, due to the steady
growth of documentary information. The major
factors, influencing the growth of volumes of
documents were given. Despite the rapid development
of electronic document management in practice,
electronic document duplicates the traditional
paperwork. However, today the approach to document
management is based on electronic technologies. The
study of the author offers solutions to the general
problem of reducing the volume of document
workflow in the modern world
In the article, based on the generalization of long-term
operation of archives of Kuban state University, we
present current regulations and practice of work with
archival documents, pressing questions of transition to
paperless acquisition, storage and use of documentary
resources of the organization. The author conducted a
detailed analysis of the functioning of the archives of
the University taking into account the specifics of the
focus of the organization, defined the main tasks of the
archive. The role of the archive is considered in the
context of source of historical and cultural heritage of
society. We highlighted problems of control and
storage of archival documents, due to the steady
growth of documentary information. Due to the rapid
development of electronic document management
today, the approach to the management of archival
documents is formed based on electronic technologies.
Based on the analysis and the identified problems, the
article presented constructive proposals for the
introduction of an electronic document archive
organization if the interaction with the EDMS and
other systems. To speed up the process of working
with paper media, we might use the technology of
digitization. It is obvious that now, without
implementation of modern information technologies it
is impossible to organize effective accounting, storage
and use of archival documents
The article describes the current state of the transition
to paperless exchange of documented information. The
general trend of application of information
technologies in the field of document management is
linked to the concepts of "electronic government" and
"information society". The article gives an overview of
the legal and regulatory framework the concept of
"electronic government" in Russia. We present the
dynamics of modern forms of communication and
creating unified information space to ensure efficient,
effective interaction of society and the state, including
the transition to work with documents in electronic
form, on education and science. The author has
conducted a detailed analysis of the functioning of the
module of "Interaction" between the Ministry of
education and science and its subordinate
organizations; we have also identified technological
features of exchange document information. Based on
the analysis, we give the evaluation of the
implementation of the module of "Interaction"; we
emphasize the urgency and high efficiency of
information exchange, as well as comfort for users
