The article discusses the new structural schematics and features of the DC voltage source with improved operational and technical characteristics
The article discusses the new structural schematics DC voltage sources with improved performance, performed on transformers with a rotating magnetic field
The article discusses structural schematics power circuits and voltage stabilization systems of converters with improved operational and technical characteristics
The article shows the main advantages and disadvantages of renewable energy sources. It is shown, that in general, the use of renewable energy in the world has acquired real momentum and stable growth trend. An interesting fact is that the greatest application was currently the most mutable and unstable form of energy - wind. The total global installed capacity of large wind turbines, according to various estimates, is approximately 20 GW. This is because the specific investment in wind power is lower than with most other forms of renewable energy. The article presents features of the design and operation of modern wind power stations. It is shown that when choosing wind power plants and stations we must take into account the following main parameters and factors: the average value of amount of electricity consumed by power consumers on a monthly basis; power generator; uptime in the absence wind or when weak wind. The study shows block-circuit solutions of different options of energy systems made using wind power plants. We have also disclosed prospects of development wind energy and considered the advantages and the features of the choice of the main functional units of wind power stations which will increase the effectiveness of predesign work on the creation of high-performance systems of electrosupply with combined power supply systems based on renewable energy sources
It is known, that today, the one of the promising
areas to effectively address issues of energy saving
is applying renewable energy sources. Despite the
fact that the current solar PV stations have the main
drawback associated with the high cost, the prospects
of their application in autonomous systems
of electrosupply are evident when they are used in
combined (hybrid) systems. In such systems, other
types of renewable and traditional sources of electricity,
which, in addition, produce heat, might be
used as well. We have disclosed the prospects of
the solar industry; also, for solar energy assessment
we examined analytical expressions allowing defining
the energy derived from solar radiation for specific
surfaces. The calculations start with obtaining
statistical data obtained at meteorological stations
which keeps records of the intensity of the total
(direct plus diffuse) radiation on a horizontal surface,
and the intensity of direct solar radiation. The
article presents features of the calculation taking
into account the climatic and territorial conditions,
on the example of the Krasnodar region. Considered
calculation procedure is the first stage of designing
solar power plants. Further, we determine
the total capacity of electricity consumers, as well
as the quality requirements for electricity, including
continuity of supply, and then we get to the construction
of the block diagram of the electricity
supply. In this scheme, we must provide primary
and backup power sources. We select the main
equipment of solar power plant (solar panels, inverters
and storage batteries)

Currently one of the promising areas to significantly
improve efficiency of energy saving is the
introduction of renewable sources of energy into the
energy system. In the field of solar energy, we
consider solar photovoltaic power plants with direct
conversion of solar radiation into electricity using
solar panels as the most promising ones. The article
examines the main factors that reveal the prospects
of applying solar photovoltaic power plants. It also
discusses the main advantages and disadvantages in
comparison with traditional and other renewable
energy sources. To improve the operational and
technical characteristics of solar power plants in
their structure significantly, it is proposed to use new
components. Stand-alone inverters for single-phase
transformers with rotating magnetic field will reduce
the number of power electronic devices in the
conversion circuit; they will simplify the system of
control and protection, reduce electromagnetic
interference and improve overall efficiency and
reliability of the converter of the solar power plant.
In addition, the modular design of solar power plants
will also increase the reliability of the power system
due to redundancy of the major functional elements.
It is also important that the construction of solar
power plants in a modular way enhances
maintainability of the system, it significantly reduces
the time for maintenance and troubleshooting in
emergencies; it simplifies the task of changing its
structure depending on requirements of users. The
article reveals peculiarities of work and the main
benefits from the application of solar photovoltaic
power plants
Currently, there are widely used combined (hybrid)
power systems in the world, made using renewable
and conventional sources of energy. The article
discusses a typical structural scheme of a combined
system of electricity supply; it also shows the design
and the characteristics of three types of structural
circuit design of combined power systems and their
main advantages and disadvantages. Peculiarities of
the choice and calculation of parameters of the basic
functional elements of the combined system have
been presented. This study describes main
characteristics of solar batteries and provides
analytical expressions for the calculation of their
main parameters. The main characteristics of
batteries and the peculiarities of calculation of the
capacity of storage batteries operating in autonomous
systems have been listed. The features of selection of
voltage inverters have shown that in addition to the
nominal input and output voltage it is necessary to
consider other characteristics that influence the work
of autonomous power supply systems. It has been
shown when it is desirable to use electromechanical
generators to supply autonomous consumers. The
types of structural solutions and the choice of the
basic functional elements of combined power
systems will increase the efficiency of their design
