ANALYSIS OF FUNCTIONING OF RAILROAD WAREHOUSE OF MINERAL FERTILIZERS

abstract 1261702021 issue 126 pp. 276 – 288 28.02.2017 ru 462
The railroad warehouse has most important role in the delivery process of fertilizers to agricultural consumers. It acts as logistics intermediaries. The analysis of material flows has been done on the example of a typical provider of mineral fertilizers in the South of the Rostov region (CJSC «Zernogradagrohimservis») for the last 6 years. Income values and implementation values are varied during the year synchronously for all fertilizers types with the exception of a few months at the beginning and the end of the year. During most of the year the enterprise operates as a negotiable warehouse. In January-February and October-December ammonium nitrate accumulates as a seasonal inventory for the spring peak of implementation, in the rest of the year its reserves are insurance. Stocks of other fertilizers types are insurance stocks for most of the year, in May-July occurs a slight accumulation of their seasonal stocks. A significant portion of mineral fertilizers (especially ammonium nitrate) is delivered for small enterprises and individual farms by cars of this provider. According to the supply contracts, a one-car-run is performed for the vast majority of customers. Routes of delivery of fertilizers are either radial or pendulum (with reverse idle mileage). Therefore, the optimization of the delivery of fertilizers does not seem possible by methods such as obtaining the shortest route network, consolidation of suppliers for consumers, etc.

ANALYSIS OF TRANSPORT STRUCTURE OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES IN SOUTH RUSSIA

abstract 1091505020 issue 109 pp. 339 – 348 29.05.2015 ru 994
The modern state of the territorial road system in South Russia is analyzed in the article. It considers some districts of the Rostov region, the Krasnodar region and the Stavropol region, which have roads with inappropriate technical parameters, and some districts, which don’t have paved roads for transport connection localities. Road service is a function of road construction companies. Numbers of vehicles in companies participating in the technological process of prepare, delivery and asphalting don’t match the amount of work. Therefore, the article analyzes the transport structure of road construction companies in the most problem districts of the Krasnodar region, the Stavropol region and the Rostov region. On basis of data on providing the companies with vehicles and length of roads the closeness of the relationship is defined which is estimated with the correlation coefficient. The road construction company with the best coordination of the delivery power, the number of vehicles for preparation, transportation and asphalting, and the length of roads is identified. The optimal coefficient of providing every hundred kilometers with rolling stock for service is defined as the analysis result

RESEARCH OF PROVIDING INFRASTRUCTURE OF MINERAL FERTILIZERS TO AGRICULTURAL CONSUMERS

abstract 1081504047 issue 108 pp. 643 – 653 30.04.2015 ru 895
Currently, for producers of mineral fertilizers one of the main tasks is the process of creating a supply chain of mineral fertilizers delivery to agricultural consumers, running on a «Just-in-time» way. The effective operation of such a supply chain has to be influenced by many factors, including: the technology of agricultural production, seasonality of agricultural work, the structure of the distribution channel of mineral fertilizers, the geographical features of consumers, the availability of appropriate infrastructure, etc. Critical elements of the infrastructure are warehouses and equipment for storage of mineral fertilizers, as well as the road network. For example, farms in the Rostov region were analyzed for the infrastructure necessary for the successful supply of mineral fertilizer agricultural consumers. It was found that the capacity of warehouses and facilities for the storage of mineral fertilizers and distribution of cultivated areas between agricultural enterprises of different size are diametrically opposed. The process of delivery of mineral fertilizers need to be developed taking into account the shortage or complete lack of storage capacity for their storage, especially for small enterprises. The existing road network, with paved allows us to deliver of mineral fertilizers virtually all consumers by road transport. This dictates the feasibility of delivery of mineral fertilizers to consumers by road transport in soft containers (Big Bags), allowing the storage in the open air
