The article presents the results of the research of the equipment operation for animal origin feeds fine grinding, and also its operation efficiency index
This investigation established that during fodder processing into feed mixture the quantity of protein decreases, especially in the defrostation and grinding processes. A coefficient of protein reservoir was suggested. The usage of this coefficient allows preventing protein deficiency in animals and rising efficiency of fur farming
