This article analyzes the representations of modern
youth of heroism as the basis of patriotic and civic
education. Special attention is paid to consideration of
the transformation of the concept of "heroism", reduce
the social significance of the feat in the consciousness
of modern Russian society. Value of creating an image
of the hero as a way of formation a sense of patriotism
and learning patterns of social activity necessary for
the creation of a civil society is analyzed. On the basis
of sociological research among students of higher
education institutions of Krasnodar, the understanding
of the essence of "heroism" and attitude to the heroic
deeds is revealed. The connection of this social
phenomenon with a set of personal lines and moral
qualities of the person is established. The most
favorable for commission of feats spheres and the
personalities applying for a role of heroes for today's
younger generation are defined. The authors draw a
conclusion about the existence of student’s interest in
the phenomenon of heroism and the passive need for
the formation of a distinct image of the hero on a basis,
both the celebrated historic figures, and
contemporaries. In addition, discrepancy in a number
of answers of students is noted, indicating the absence
of a modern young people a clear idea of heroism and
heroic acts, their importance in personal development.
This, in turn, complicates and slows down the process
of forming a high sense of patriotism and high civil
activity
The article is devoted to the study of social practices
of the handmade and their impact on creative and
professional fulfillment of personality. It deals with
the concept of handmade, its value as a way of leisure
and business in Western countries and in Russia.
Presents the results carried out by the authors of the
sociological research devoted to the study of the
relations of the inhabitants of Krasnodar to manual
production. Based on the analysis of empirical data the
following indicators handmade were pointed:
uniqueness, exclusivity, originality, quality.
Handicrafts opposed to a mass product. This makes
hand-made in demand. Respondents perceive the hand
primarily as a leisure activity, which nevertheless
allows obtaining additional income and contributes to
self-development. Key qualities and competencies that
can be generated in the course of employment in
manual labor were identified. Among them the most
important the respondents considered the disclosure of
creative abilities, creativity, attentiveness, diligence. It
is concluded that under the conditions of modern
Russia, with the existing level of development of
information technologies created sufficient social base
for the development of handmade industry
The transformation of society, its subsystems and
institutions led to the changing requirements of
professional competencies of graduates. Among the
most significant types of professional activities in
national standards research activities are called.
Accordingly, an important role in preparation of
graduating students of institutions is now played by
such form of independent work as research activity.
The article is devoted to the study of the influence of
scientific-research work of students on the formation
of their professional competences. It discusses the
concept of competence, research work of the student.
Presents the results carried out by the authors of the
sociological research devoted to the study of attitude
of students of Kuban state technological University for
the research work. The basic forms of research work
done by students are pointed. The ideas of respondents
about the role of scientific work in training and social
mobility of graduates are considered. Key qualities
and competencies that can be formed in the process of
employment of research work are certain. Among
them the most important the respondents believe the
skills of working with information, skills of selfeducation,
development of creative abilities
The article is devoted to social wellbeing as an integral
indicator of the socio-psychological state of the
individual, social groups and society as a whole.
Various methodological approaches to the definition
of this category were examined. The article presents
the results of the sociological research carried out by
the authors devoted to the study of social well-being of
the residents of Sochi in the post-Olympic period.
Based on the analysis of empirical data, the following
indicators are certain: satisfaction of residents with
their financial situation, living conditions and health
status; the level of optimism in the context of personal
and social life in the short time perspective, the degree
of conflict in the city between different social groups
and trust of habitants to the Central, regional and local
authorities. The main problems of Sochi and possible
ways of their solution, according to opinion of local
residents are presented. The article studies the opinion
of citizens to such nationwide processes as the
annexation of the Crimea to Russia and the imposition
of sanctions against our country, as well as retaliatory
sanctions of the Russian Federation. Special attention
in the survey is devoted to the attitude of local people
to the Olympics in their city and the use of Olympic
legacy, as well as the preparation and holding of
football World Cup in 2018
The authors characterize the modern condition of Russian rural territories. The most important federal target programs of development of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) are mentioned. Special attention is paid to studying the student’s youth as the main social resource of rural territories development. Based on empirical date we present an analysis of economic and social situation, vital plans and strategies of rural youth of Kuban. We have also carried out the analysis of respondent’s views of the rural territories actual problems and the measures aimed at the development of AIC
The purpose of the investigation is students’ conflictological competence assessment method elaboration. The methodological foundations are system approach (considered the pedagogical monitoring as education quality management component), personal oriented approach (focused the educational process on student persona), competence oriented approach (oriented the educational process to personally-professional abilities formation which integrated the knowledge, skills, motives, values and ability to their control) and quality measurement approach (we have considered the conflictological competence preparedness as a multi-criterion parameter). The theoretical foundations are socially-philosophic works dedicated to students’ conflictological competence formation, and pedagogical works, dedicated to education quality management. The normative foundations of investigation are Law “About Education” (2012), state educational standards for vocational training (2009), “Strategy of state youth policy in Russian Federation”, state program “Patriotic education of Russian Federation citizens during 2011-2015”. The methods of investigation are scientific literature and pedagogical practice analysis, survey, modeling, pedagogical monitoring, quality measurement and complex systems polyvalent analysis
