ABOUT CREATION OF MODELS OF NATURAL PLANT COMMUNITIES, INCLUDING RARE SPECIES, IN THE BOTANICAL GARDENS OF KRASNODAR

abstract 0921308001 issue 92 pp. 1 – 27 31.10.2013 ru 1671
One of the ways to save rare species of plants is to create models of natural communities on the grounds of the botanical gardens. In the Botanical Garden of Kuban State University we have created the model of forest communities with the participation of rare and endangered species, and we are still working on creating models of herbaceous communities. We have introduced 18 species of plants of the flora of the Krasnodar region in the forest community and more than 30 species in herbaceous community

THE EFFECT OF PROBIOTIC AND PATHOGENIC BACTERIA METABOLITES ON ANTAGONISTIC ACTIVITY OF LACTOBACILLUS ACIDOPHILUS D â„– 75

abstract 0921308022 issue 92 pp. 339 – 357 31.10.2013 ru 1625
In the article we investigated the effect of the bacterial metabolites compositions (Aktoflor and Patogen) on antagonistic activity of L.acidophilus D â„– 75. It was shown the both compositions stimulate integrated antagonistic activity of L.acidophilus D â„– 75 by inducing the synthesis of the bacteriocin and decreasing the proportion of low active clones in the population. We have also shown the advantage of probiotic bacteria metabolites (Aktoflor). The results can be used to enhance the probiotic potential of the bacterial preparations

USE OF SUBCRITICAL WATER FOR THE CONTENT ASSESSMENT OF POLYCYCLIC AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS IN SOILS OF THE INFLUENCE ZONE OF POWER COMPLEX COMPANIES

abstract 0921308046 issue 92 pp. 694 – 703 31.10.2013 ru 1243
The research of the territory adjacent to Novocherkassk state district power station, for the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (on an example of benzo(a)pyrene) is presented. The benzo(a)pyrene content in soils has been determined with a method of subcritical water extraction. The content of benzo(a)pyrene in soils of the territory adjacent to Novocherkassk state district power station has been estimated. It is shown, that contents of benzo(a)pyrene excess over maximum permissible concentration in soils of five-kilometer zone around the companies

ECONOMIC EFFICIENT PRODUCTION OF BIOMASS ADAPTED TO THE SUBSTRATE OF OIL OXIDIZING ACTINOBACILLOSIS USED IN BIOREMEDIATION PROCESSES

abstract 0921308050 issue 92 pp. 748 – 757 31.10.2013 ru 1293
In the article we have studied the technology of obtaining a biomass of oil oxidizing microorganisms in a nutrient medium containing vegetable oil as the sole source of carbon and energy. In vitro and in soil experiment we have confirmed the effectiveness of the resulting biomass at work on bioremediation of oil contaminated sites. It is shown that the use of vegetable oil during culturing allows obtaining the same amount of biomass and carbohydrate raw materials, but the efficiency of its use is 20% higher, in average

DESTRUCTION OF HYDROCARBONS WITH VARIOUS MORPHOTYPES OF OIL OXIDIZING ACTINOBACTERIA

abstract 0921308051 issue 92 pp. 758 – 770 31.10.2013 ru 1658
In this article we have carried out a comparative study of hydro-carbon-oxidizing activity of S-and R-morphological types of oil oxidizing Actinobacteria from the collection of Kuban State University. Signifi-cant differences observed in parameters of growth between S- and R-forms of oil oxidizing Actinobacte-ria. In S-forms it is higher than the maximum specific growth rate, which is typical for a wide range of hy-drocarbon degradation and a high degree of degrada-tion of pollutants. In experiments with the use of oil as a substrate and heavy oil S-forms, Actinobacteria quickly adapted to the environmental conditions
