CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DYURSO RIVER ICHTHYOCENOSIS

abstract 1081504095 issue 108 pp. 1297 – 1315 30.04.2015 ru 0
In the article we have described the history of the studies and the modern features of fish community of the Black sea's river Durso (the length 14 km). It was established, that in present time the river includes only seven species of fishes from three ecological groups: freshwater (five species), saltwater (one specie) and marine (one specie). A bleack (Alburnus alburnus) and Colchis minnows (Phoxinus phoxinus colchicus) dominate by quantity in the structure of Durso river fish community, bleack and Prussian carp (Carassius auratus gibelio) dominate by biomass. The negative changes of Durso river conditions were found in compare with the last years. First of all, it appears in biological pollution of fish species allochthonous for this river. In the period of the Durso river monitoring (1935–2014) it was established the distinct raise of allochthonous components with parallel reduce of variety of autochthonous fresh waters rheophilic species. The main reason is the building of reservoir in upper flow of the Durso river in 1976. The additional negative factor influence on of the Durso river fish community is the falling down of the water level during the important period of fish lifecycle. The best condition of fish community is in the middle part of the river were reaches combine with the cold springs and powerful flow

CHARACTERISTICS OF SUNFLOWER OPEN-POLLINATED VARIETIES FOR MAIN SEED TRAITS

abstract 1181604082 issue 118 pp. 1282 – 1292 29.04.2016 ru 845
Development of confectionery sunflower openpollinated varieties (OP-varieties) is a prospect direction in sunflower breeding. High price level for confectionery sunflower seeds pushes forward the breeding program. Contrary, it is necessary to offer product, meeting consumer’s expectation for large seeds, good dehulling rate, proper oil and husk content. The aim of our work is to study morphometric peculiarities of seed structure for sunflower OP-varieties of different types – oil and confectionery, and to identify the best samples for using in the breeding program as an initial material. The study was done at All-Russia Oil Crops Research Institute (VNIIMK) named by V.S. Pustovoit (Krasnodar) in 2014 and 2015. Seeds of 6 OP sunflower varieties of VNIIMK breeding were used as a material (confectionery type – Dzhinn, SPK, Lakomka, Oreshek, Borodinskiy and oil-type – Muster). OP-varieties were sown by randomized blocks with 3 replications. Every plot had 4 rows. It was shown that seeds of confectionery sunflower OP-varieties had higher values of main traits (length, width and thickness) in comparison with oil-type sunflower. Seed traits analyses allowed identifying the best confectionery samples (Dzhinn and Oreshek) for future breeding

CHARACTERISTICS OF NUTRITION AND HEALTH OF DOMESTICATED DOGS AND CATS

abstract 1521908018 issue 152 pp. 220 – 230 31.10.2019 ru 238
The authors of this article have developed a questionnaire for pet owners and conducted a research on the nutrition and health of domestic dogs and cats in the urban environment. By results of researches, it is concluded that in the conditions of the city, cats are a preferable type of pets. The preferred type of food is mixed one, with using dry, natural and wet food. Food standards are followed by 46% of owners of 100% participants of the survey and only 43.3% from consulters with veterinary specialists in the field of feeding of a pet. Among non-communicable diseases, urological diseases are more common: urolithiasis, cystitis, endometritis and ovarian cyst

CHARACTERISTICS OF HELMINTH INFECTIONS OF AMERICAN MINK (MUSTELA VISON), RACCOON (PROCYON LOTOR) AND WOLF (CANIS LUPUS) ON THE TERRITORY THE NORTH-WESTERN CAUCASUS

abstract 1361802032 issue 136 pp. 215 – 225 28.02.2018 ru 247
This article is devoted to the study of the species structure of helminths of the American mink, raccoon and wolf, conducted from 2006 to 2017. The study was subjected to 69 corpses of American mink - 30 of reed-bed, 22 flat, 17 of the Piedmont; 42 dead raccoon to 21 of the foothill and mountain; 24 corpse of the wolf - 8 from overflow land, foothill and mountain landscape-geographical zones of the Northwest Caucasus. The analysis of the results of the study showed that the determining factor in the formation of helminthocenoses of American mink, raccoon and wolf is the species structure of trophic-epizootic chains, the links of which are these predators, as well as species that act as intermediate, additional and reservoir hosts. Feature of helminthiases in carnivorous mammals is determined by a group of fodder. A dynamic increase in the number of species in the structure of helminthocenoses of American mink, raccoon and wolf was established, which is due to the anthropogenic transformation of natural ecosystems, violation of historical biotic relationships, including in the "parasite-host" system. The analyzed species of wild carnivores are involved in the support and formation of natural foci of such hazardous parasites as metros, Alaris, pseudamphistomum, mesocestoides, echinococcosis, trichinosis, dirofilariosis

CHARACTERISTICS OF ADAPTIVE TRAITS OF VARIETIES AND LINES OF WINTER (SOFT) WHEAT SOWN AFTER PEAS AS A PREDECESSOR

abstract 1111507076 issue 111 pp. 1191 – 1199 30.09.2015 ru 1104
The researchers of the institute are studying adaptive power of 17 varieties and 6 lines of winter wheat sown after peas using various methods of assessment of their adaptive properties. During the years of study (2012-2014) we found out that environmental conditions which account for 78% have the greatest effect on the trait ‘grain productivity’ in the formation of the yield. The share of genes accounts for 9,7%, the specific correlation ‘geno type x environment’ accounts for 10% which allow calculating adaptive properties. It has been defined that productivity of winter soft wheat changed a lot due to growing conditions and characteristics of varieties. The productivity ranged from 38,7 c/ha (‘Garant’ in 2014) to 76,5 c/ha 9’Lilit’ in 2013). The study found out that the varieties ‘Stanichnaya’, ‘Asket’ and ‘Lilit’ possess the highest response to cultivation with bi=1,15; bi=1,18 and bi=1,25 respectively. The varieties ‘Lilit’, ‘Krasa Dona’, the lines ‘430/07’, ‘260/09’ and 771/09’ possess a high adaptive ability and productivity with 111%, 105%, 108%, 105% and 106% respectively. The study of adaptive properties of winter soft wheat varieties gives an opportunity to distinguish adaptive, stress tolerant varieties with plasticity according to the primary structural elements which form productivity. The varieties ‘Asket’ and ‘Lidiya’ are characterized with high response to cultivation in different environmental conditions. The varieties ‘Lidiya’ and ‘Kapitan’ belong to adaptive cultivars. The varieties ‘Kapitan’, ‘Krasa Dona’ and the line ‘234/07’ are stress tolerant according to the trait ‘grain productivity’; the varieties ‘Kapitan’, ‘Krasa Dona’, ‘Lilit’ and the line ‘771/09’ are stress tolerant according to the trait ‘number of seeds per a ear’; the varieties ‘Lilit’, ‘Krasa Dona’ and the line ‘771/09’ are stress tolerant according to the trait ‘weight of seeds per a ear’
