The article deals with the peculiarities of the formation
process of moral and combat cadets’ qualities and
specific features of training for active service in
peacetime or in times of conflict. Cadets’ moral
qualities are presented as special moral orientation of
personality inherent in soldiers’ moral character traits,
as well as their worldview, ideals and other socially
beneficial interests, their sense of duty, patriotism,
internationalism, hatred for external and internal
enemies, self-sacrifice, personal responsibility for their
Homeland. An attempt has been made to investigate
the moral and psychological development of cadets, to
study the process of cadets’ upbringing by their direct
and superior commanders

The article reveals the content of pedagogical work
activities for teaching staff in the main activities of the
Department (academic, educational, methodical,
scientific and organizational-methodical work). We
have offered a rational standard time for their quality
execution, allowing improving the quality of training
of university graduates. It is proposed to consider
additional classes and consultations in the burden time
of teachers, as well as the norms of time for
preparation for publishing educational and scientific
literature, development of training, methodological,
logistical and organizational-methodical work. It is
shown, that the participation of teachers in researches
and development with the aim of earning money for
the University reduces the level of the educational
process. To improve the quality of training of students,
we have offered a number of key measures that needed

The article is devoted to methods of training
specialists in universities that meet the current
qualification and professional requirements of the
employers. The work formulates requirements to
graduates of educational institutions, which include
not only training high-level, but also personal
qualities, which together allows the graduate to
become a competitive specialist. As a possible
method of preparation of such experts we justified
the introduction of elements of project activity in
educational process of universities. The proposed
nested structure of the typical educational program,
identifies the modules that are part of it, specify the
purposes and functions of each module in the
implementation of the project methods. Advantages
of training in case of realization of scientific design
activities were shown. The use of design methods
within the module of General subjects, organization
and implementation of interdisciplinary modules
design and science and engineering activities are
proposed. We noted the necessity of temporal and
semantic coordination between all modules of the
educational program with the aim of obtaining the
maximum effect from the implementation of project
methods in the educational process. It is proved, that
the implementation of the project activity during
training students not only develop competencies of
educational standard, but also acquire and forming
their own competencies needed for future career. The
conditions of effective implementation of scientificresearch
and design activities within universities

The article analyses the difficulties brought about by
the introduction into the curricula of many Russian
universities a new educational practice – Academic
Writing in English. The difficulties are grouped into
the following categories: the ones which are rooted in
the old Soviet-Russian lingua - didactic tradition of
teaching foreign languages; the ones which are
connected with a low level of prestige of research
work among students and some of their teachers; the
ones which are specific to a particular educational
establishment, and as the survey reveals, they are
mostly caused by the complicated nature of the
subject Academic Writing. The algorithm of action
suggested for the syllabus design includes the
analysis of objective and subjective difficulties;
analysis of the needs of the target audience; and the
introduction into the teaching process specifically
designed for the course materials. Survey results
prove that following the algorithm has significantly
raised the students’ level of satisfaction with the
difficult course. The measures, aiming to improve the
course, have facilitated the attainment of the course
goal, saving time and effort for students and their
teachers

In psychological and educational literature, a psycho-pedagogical support is regarded as a system of professional activity which provides the creation of conditions for successful human adaptation to its conditions of life; psycho-pedagogical support of the educational process includes pedagogical and psychological patterns of training and education, tried and tested techniques and technologies, experience of teaching staff in practice. The aim of psycho-pedagogical support in terms of vocational education is to create an enabling environment for a successful personal development, ensuring social and professional self-determination, self-realization and the formation, preservation of psychological health of participants in the educational process. The article considers issues related to the history of the
popularization of agricultural knowledge by agitation
lacquer miniatures. The agitation lacquer miniature in
its content and meaning has similarities with such
kinds of art as agitation posters, agitation porcelain and
agitation textiles. We have discussed issues the
emergence of this kind of art. The agitation lacquer
miniature or agitlak appeared in Soviet Russia in the
1920s. In the work, we have attempted to analyze one
of the most interesting directions of art - propaganda or
lacquer miniature agitlak and its role in promoting
agricultural knowledge. Agitlak - a term invented by
the collector Alexander Andreyevich Dobrovskij, by
association with the established terms such as agitporcelain
and agit-textile. To achieve this goal the
database was created visual images of agitation lacquer
miniatures taken from exhibition catalogs, brochures
and books. As a tool of the analysis method we have
used sketches or visual notes. To use lacquer
miniatures as resource information for popularization
agricultural knowledge in Russia in the period from
1920 to 1970 there are several topics: change of
manual labor by mechanized, types of agricultural
works, harvesting, growing of different cultures,
experience exchange, attracting the pioneers in the
agricultural sector - opytnichestvo. In the work we
have shown the history of the development of agitation
lacquer miniature, goals and objectives, an illustrative
number of samples as well as analyzed lacquer
miniatures with scenes of agricultural production
