VISUAL PHENOTYPING IN PLANT BREEDING

abstract 1281704071 issue 128 pp. 1038 – 1050 28.04.2017 ru 504
The article is devoted to visual analysis and its application in the selection process. New possibilities of application of visual display of information in the research process are considered. We have presented the examples of the use of visual phenotyping in breeding, evaluated the advantages and disadvantages in this area. In particular, the algorithm of the program of LHDetect for estimating leaf pubescence of wheat wafers is described, based on the analysis of digital images of the sheet bend. We have also considered Phenotiki platform that uses digital images of the profile of plants for visual phenotyping to assess plant growth. Based on the analysis of various studies it was noted that the application of visual analysis for some purposes is very effective, but for others, on the contrary, not effective. We highlight the actual problems of proper representation and converting information. The article shows the various causes of loss and distortion of data, as well as possible solutions to these problems. The work describes the application of ASK-analysis in the selection process. As an example, it describes the evaluation of the polymorphism of variety groups of grapes. We have presented interesting solutions and ways to minimize distortion and loss of information in the process of its transformation found by the authors of these works. The article reveals the concept of "computational biology" and describes fundamental differences from other areas as well as tasks, problems, possible research areas and promising directions of development of computer biology

VISUAL GRAPHICAL ANALYSIS OF PERFORMANCE INDICATORS OF INTEGRATED PRODUCTION SYSTEMS OF SUGAR SUBCOMPLEX AIC (PART 2 – VISUALIZATION AND CONCLUSIONS)

abstract 1221608043 issue 122 pp. 623 – 641 31.10.2016 ru 390
The article deals with methods of visual-graphic analysis (technical analysis) and a possibility of adapting them to the conditions (indicators) of the sugar subcomplex from the position of integrated production systems (IPS). It should be noted that technical analysis is very popular. Thanks to the advent of powerful processors for computers and inexpensive software, trade analysts have access to technical analysis tools. The topic is becoming increasingly relevant in connection with the high pace of the global economic community. Visual graphical analysis (technical analysis), as well as its latest methods (indicators) that are adapted to modern economic conditions, are sort of the primary "blueprints" for the more complex forecasting tools, without which none of the analyst can do. Separating statistics from mathematics as an independent unit occurred after the development and start of mass use of tools visual graphical analysis (VGA) in various applied Sciences. The main feature of the prediction is the decision of the tasks which are implemented in the algorithm of sequential nonparametric model. This indicates the improving the validity of information when predicting performance of IPS SP AIC. For a more General (objective) picture of the forecasting activities of IPS SP you need to apply this analysis in combination with other tools, such as hierarchical analysis of structural change and of correlation and spectral analysis. According to the forecasts obtained with the help of indicators the VGA, countries such as Brazil and India over time, waiting for the "overheating" of the economy due to unprecedented growth in the volume of growing sugar cane and manufacturing raw sugar. However, it is not necessary to consider the visual-graphic analysis as a perfect tool for forecasting market trends. Technical analysis should be seen as a tool for analysis and forecasting, which uses as the basis for short-term forecasting (benchmark) for operational decision-making by managers as a major sugar holdings, and the Ministry of agriculture

abstract 0621008015 issue 62 pp. 169 – 181 28.10.2010 ru 2200
Puccinia triticina isolates from North Caucasus and Leningrad region were compared in regard to the genetic structure, phenotypic composition as well as frequency of occurrence of RAPD-phenotypes and polymorphous major fragments with the help of Rogers index. Did not demonstrate any significant differences according to their genetic structure and occurrence of major fragments of DNA-polymorphism. The difference of isolates from given regions was determined with high degree of confidence according to the phenotypes of virulence and RAPD-phenotypes

VIBRATION TECHNOLOGY WITH A LARGE AMPLITUDE OF PARTICLE MOTION OF FEED COMPONENTS

abstract 1071503118 issue 107 pp. 1807 – 1824 31.03.2015 ru 813
The article has revealed the contradiction between the way of technological impact and the means of implementation of technological transport in existing processes of feed preparation. There has been shown the possibility of eliminating this contradiction by menus of completely new technological equipment on the basis of relative screw drums and the opportunity to improve their productivity. There are no exciters in the offered design of vibrating machines. There is no need for them because the move mend of mass loading particles is provided by the original constructions of relative screw drums committing a rotary motion around its own axis. For implementing of feed preparation process the geometry of the relative screw drum and its dynamism must be individual: the shape, spatial orientation, the impact of forces providing feed components particles simultaneously with rotational-translational and vibrational motion. In the result, the continuously running through the inner cavity of the relative screw drum particles of feed components perform rotational-translational movements with super imposed vibrations inside this drum, due to this process the particles of feed components are mixed intensively
