STARTING MATERIAL FOR BREEDING COLD TOLERANT RICE VARIETIES

abstract 1241610039 issue 124 pp. 632 – 649 30.12.2016 ru 459
27 introduced variety samples of rice from 8 countries were studied by the complex of biological, morphological, agronomic traits to select the most valuable genotypes for including them into breeding programs on development of cold tolerant rice varieties. It was found that the studied introduced varietal samples were characterized by variation in duration which varied from 120 to 182 days. Variety samples from Bhutan ATTEY, PARO DUMBJA (White) had shown response to photoperiod and the panicles didn’t appear in conditions of Krasnodar region. During the study there were selected high productive forms Obongbueo and Tinbubueo from S. Korea with grain weight 81.67 g / vessel and 74.43 g / vessel, respectively. According to results of research there were selected five cold tolerant samples Tong Jing 29 (China), Giza 178 (Egypt), Istigbol and Mustagillik (Uzbekistan), ZAKHA (Bhutan), evaluation result of which were on the same level with those of standard check variety Kuban 3, as well as those of samples with increased resistance IR83222- F8-14 and IR83222-F8-156 (Philippines), PARO DUMBJA (White) and THIMPHU DUMBJA (Bhutan). As a result of research there were selected three introduced rice variety samples Tong Jing 29 (China), Tinbubueo (S. Korea) and SR 30084-F8-156 (Philippines) which by duration, morphotype and agronomic traits are considered as candidates for further hybridization and breeding as sources of useful traits and properties

STABILITY OF NEW LINEAR SORTS OF WINTER SOFT WHEAT TO ADVERSE ABIOTIC AND TO BIOTIC FACTORS OF ENVIRONMENT IN ORDINARY BLACK SOIL OF THE STAVROPOL REGION

abstract 0621008012 issue 62 pp. 138 – 148 28.10.2010 ru 1838
Value of new linear sorts allocated by the method of analytical selection from sort Stepnaya 7 in increase of adaptability of winter soft wheat is discussed. The new linear sorts: Line 15, AMMA, Line 21, Line 11, Line 26, Line 29, Line 36, Line 37 revealed combination of stability to brown and yellow rusts. Productive varieties with high quality of grain: Magnificent, Line 12, Line 38 have shown stability to a brown rust and poorly affected by other mushroom diseases

STABILITY OF FRUIT AND DECORATIVE PLANTS TO HIGH TEMPERATURES: PHYSIOLOGICAL ASPECT

abstract 0861302035 issue 86 pp. 499 – 513 28.02.2013 ru 1550
There was determined that the heat resistance of fruit and decorate plants depends not only on their morpho-biological peculiarities but on the specific of temperature stressor revealing in corresponding years. There were selected three types of influence of high air temperature on plants on plants during summer period and three components of heat resistance respectively. There were cited possible mechanisms of plant adaptation to overheat. There were cited diagnostic criteria of their heat resistance

Technological methods of rice cultivation in Rostov region are considered in the article. Broadcast sowing method with rolling down the soil, application of op-timum fertilizer doses before blossoming, water schedule for weed control are recommended. Low rice percentage crop rotation for farms with unsatisfactory financial position and minimum technical equipment are suggested

SPECIES COMPOSITION AND EFFICIENCY OF STEPPE MEADOWS IN DEPENDENCE ON THE DIETARY REGIME IN THE CONDITIONS OF CENTRAL YAKUTIA

abstract 1311707057 issue 131 pp. 672 – 683 29.09.2017 ru 334
In the conditions of middle valley of the Lena River on the cryogenic, inundated, cespitose and chernozemic soils different steppe communities differently react on dietary regime. Herb-grass phytocenosis at organic dietary regime is reformed in cereal phytocenosis with the contents of cereals to 76% and bean types 19% of dry basis with productivity to 20 centner of hectare of dry basis. At the same time the efficiency of the improved phytocenosis was on charge exchange energy of 17,3 mega joule of hectare, feed units 1032 and a crude protein of 247 kilo of hectare. The whetgrasses phytocenosis has provided productivity to 19,4 centner of hectare and the content of perevarimy protein in 1 feed unit up to 118 gram. So the most effective for the steppe meadows is using complex fertilizer (humus of 20 tons of hectare + N60P60K60), increasing the productivity twice with a high quality of food

SOVIET POSTERS IN PROMOTING AGRONOMIC KNOWLEDGE

abstract 1071503097 issue 107 pp. 1493 – 1511 31.03.2015 ru 1128
We attempt to combine professional agronomic knowledge with familiarity with graphic art presented in the form of a poster in the paper. The term "poster" is considered a large loose-leaf edition, combines visual and typographic elements and execute graphic communications. The main idea of the poster is to convey the information to the reader quickly and accurately. In the study of the material we have formed complex scientific and educational resources on the history of agricultural science, including the history of the popularization of agronomic knowledge. In our work, the poster is treated as an object of analysis, as the material of social and cultural analysis and as a tool to gather information on the development of agronomic knowledge through their visualization. In the course "History and methodology of scientific agronomy" one of the competencies of students is familiarity with the methodology popularization of agronomic knowledge, understanding of what is happening. In this regard, an attempt was made to consider the Soviet poster as a source of information on the development of scientific agriculture in the period from 1917 to 1980. The aim was to analyze the main events of this period, elements of the technology of agricultural production, species and varietal diversity of crops, as well as various events in the agricultural sector. The article considers four basic types of posters: promotional, political, instructional, scientific and educational. Each of these types of posters performs its function. The poster covered all stages of agrarian sector of the country, was a historical reflection of the Soviet period and always remained mobile, online and popular art form. Today, his role is small, because it has changed the ways of presenting information. However, its historical role unchanged, he has served as the Foundation of the modern advertising industry, including agronomic knowledge
