INNOVATIONS OF VITICULTURE IN RUSSIA. 3. CLONAL SELECTION OF GRAPES

abstract 0540910008 issue 54 pp. 131 – 159 21.12.2009 ru 2463
Clone selection of usually zoned grades of grapes nowadays is made in all countries of the developed wine growing and this way increases not only productivity level, but also quality of raw materials. Process of clone selection is complicated by long-term finding-out of presence of changes of genotypical grade environment. For simplification of selection of a highly productive protoclone of selected grades use of the advanced methods of genetic marking of pluses-transgressions and selection of nucleotidically changed plants with a complex of high values of valuable quantitative signs is necessary

NOVATION OF VITICULTURE IN RUSSIA 4. DEVELOPMENT OF CLONE SELECTION IN VITICULTURE

abstract 0540910009 issue 54 pp. 160 – 181 21.12.2009 ru 2958
The analyze of the genetic relationship or diversity between clones was made by using the microsatellites in the groups with black berries: Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, and with white berries: Muscat white, Riesling and Pinot. It was possible to approve the objective evidence on the polymorphism between these forms during this analyze. These results become the rationale for the selection, breeding and making registration of these protoclones of four above-named varieties groups in the varieties-clones for state research: Cabernek, Cabernet Fanogoriisky, Cleret temrukskii, Merlok, Pinot white, Rieslinalk, Riesling Anapa, Riesling Fanogoriisky, Muscat Temruk, Shardonek and others. These varieties-clones are accepted by State commission of Russia, they will enrich the viticulture assortment of Anapa-Tamanskay zones of Kuban, therefore Russia too

Zoned assortment of grape plantings of Russia, 170 grades for today, by their ten years' estimations by production workers and assortment researchers, as well as in other wine growing countries, it is divided into three ampelographical groups: recommended or zoned, resolved (perspective and duplicated) and temporarily resolved. It allows to be guided easily to practical workers of wine growing sub-division in the point of selection of the necessary grades and the organization of optimum industrial ampelocenoseums of any scale

For today, there are 170 scion grapes grades in the register, including 76 table, 73 technical and 21 universal directions of use, and also 17 stocks. From number of scion varieties there are 109 domestic and 61 foreign, 35 native and 135 selection grades. The state registry is the basic innovation document of wine-growers used as a manual at creation of ampelocenoseums and manufacture of the most valuable production
