SEEDS AS A SOURCE OF SUNFLOWER PHOMOPSIS SPREAD

abstract 0921308013 issue 92 pp. 222 – 231 31.10.2013 ru 1352
The ability of Phomopsis to transmit from affected seeds to plants has been studied in both anamorphic and teleomorphic phases of its development in the year of sowing. The sunflower lesion with Phomopsis affects not only the germination, but also causes the plant disease

SEGREGATION OF THE PLANT HEIGHT AT INTERSUBSPECIES HYBRIDS OF THE SECOND GENERATION RICE

abstract 1311707018 issue 131 pp. 191 – 197 29.09.2017 ru 536
The article presents the results of the genetic analysis of the trait ‘plant height’ for six crosses involving the forms related to different subspecies of rice. There have been estimated the types of inheritance and a number of genes, which assist to determine this quantitative trait. We have found out that the variance of the trait ‘plant height’ is determined by 3-5 pairs of genes having additive and dominant activities and the degree of dominance reduces in case the variance among parental forms increases. The non-allelic interaction of the genes of the initial forms produces transgressive dwarf and tall forms. The cross ‘Lampo’x’Virazh’ showed the highest degree of transgression in ‘plant height’ due to short height of both parental forms (61.7%), but the frequency of transgression was larger than that of the cross ‘Lampo’x’Komandor’(17.6%). This combination (‘Lampo’x’Komandor’) produced more tall forms (up to 135 cm). The segregation of a great number of tall forms into F2 testifies that the parental forms of these hybrids vary in the allelic state of several pairs of genes, whose various combinations form phenotypes with a longer stem. Thus, the semi-dwarf feature of the varieties ‘Lampo’, ‘Komandor’ and ‘Virazh’ is determined by various non-allelic genes

SEISM SAFETY OF PRESSURE HEAD HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTIONS

abstract 0781204079 issue 78 pp. 982 – 992 30.04.2012 ru 1465
Experience of supervision of safety of the hydraulic engineering constructions, operating in our country since 1971, and the first 15 years of the Federal law of the Russian Federation No. 117-FZ from 21.07.1997 “About safety of hydraulic engineering constructions”, when persons under surveillance of GTS steel of power, the industry and a water economic complex is given. The majority (97 %) potentially dangerous GTS of the Russian Federation treat the IV class of solidity with service life from 40 to 50 and more years where, as a rule, is absent or the operation service, insufficient quantity of instrumentation is small. Monitoring of a technical condition of similar GTS is possible with use of the mobile, mobile complexes equipped with the modern equipment (hydrological, geophysical, geodetic, mechanical, etc.). Safety of GTS is in many respects caused by a skill level of the operational personnel. For the solution of questions of increase of their safety amending the current legislation is necessary

SELECTION OF FETAL CELLS CIRCULATING IN MATERNAL BLOOD FOR NONINVASIVE PRENATAL DIAGNOSIS

abstract 1151601082 issue 115 pp. 1288 – 1309 27.01.2016 ru 847
Trophoblast cells circulating in maternal blood may serve as potential sources of genetic information for screening in obstetric practice approaches to noninvasive prenatal diagnosis. The material for the study was whole blood of pregnant women of gestational ages of 8-12 weeks in a volume of 10 ml. stabilized with heparin. Enrichment was performed by the method of gradient centrifugation and magnetic separation (CD45–) with fluorescent staining negative fractions labeled with antibodies to antigens of trophoblasts (HLA-G, and Trop-2) to conduct flow cytometry and sorting of cells on glass slides. Single cell candidates using laser micro dissection were transferred into a vial for subsequent whole-genome amplification, providing sufficient representativeness of their genome. Fetal origin of the genetic material was confirmed by comparison of alleles of the HLA genes of the parents and cells candidates. It is possible to improve significantly the accuracy and versatility of non-invasive prenatal diagnosis using comparative genomic hybridization using chips (аCGH)
