EFFECT OF GOLD NANOPARTICLES ON SEEDS GERMINATION OF WINTER BARLEY

abstract 1271703018 issue 127 pp. 295 – 307 31.03.2017 ru 834
The article presents experimental data on the research of gold nanoparticles (GNPs) with mean diameter 15 nm and 50 nm effect on seeds germination and growth of 3-day-old etiolated coleoptiles and roots. Compared with distilled water (control) initial colloidal solution of 15 nm and 50 nm GNPs (57 µg/ml) had no significant impact on seeds germination and growth of coleoptiles and roots. However, in both cases a weak tendency to stimulation of the coleoptile growth and root growth inhibition was observed. Reduction of 15 nm GNPs concentration down to 10 µg/ml and 1 µg/ml had not effect on the growth of the seedlings, but stimulated seed germination up to twofold. Similar concentrations of 50 nm GNPs exerted the stimulating effect on seed germination (twofold) and the growth of root and coleoptiles. Seedlings grew especially intensive in colloidal GNPs solution with Au concentration of 10 µg/ml. Temperature rise of 2 degrees (from 25°C to 27°C) resulted in growth increase of control 3-day-old seedlings and opposite effect of 50 nm GNPs: coleoptiles and roots growth fell behind control seedlings growth by 16-17%. However, on the 4th day, the relative growth slowdown of control seedlings occurred at 27°C and growth stimulation effect under the influence of 50 nm GNPs appeared again. Over time, the stimulating effect of 50 nm GNPs decreased: at the end of October it weakened, and in November – beginning of December, it was no observed for the roots, and there was a decline in coleoptiles growth. However, in all cases the effect of stimulation of seeds germination persisted under the influence of 50 nm GNPs, weakening by December. We hypothesize the molecular mechanisms of biological action of GNPs

EFFECT OF GERMINATION OF THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND ANTINUTRIENTS CONTENT IN SOYBEAN SEEDS

abstract 0971403089 issue 97 pp. 1275 – 1298 31.03.2014 ru 1563
It was established that water absorption of soybean seeds does not depend on the variety. And in the beginning it has an active character, providing the increase in mass of seeds on 80-140% after 12-14 hours. Subsequently, hydration intensity decreases and mass reaches 110-160% of the original. Electroactivated water increases the level of hydration in comparison with tap water (anolyte – 10-18%, catholyte – 5-9%). Furthermore, in the process of germination of soybean protein content increased by 4-12% and fat – 7-16%. Inhibitor content thus decreases by the same amount, and does not depend on the variety. Thus, consideration of the varietal characteristics of soybean seeds during germination allows how to reduce energy consumption for processing and to reduce the degree of destruction of nutrients

EFFECT OF GENOTYPE AND NUTRIENT MEDIUM HORMONAL COMPOSITION ON INTENSITY OF PROPAGATION OF RASPBERRY IN VITRO

abstract 1081504073 issue 108 pp. 997 – 1007 30.04.2015 ru 958
The key stage of clonal micropropagation, the micropropagation sensu stricto, affords to increase the propagation index for plants, especially perennials. In this study, we consider ways to optimize clonal micropropagation of remontant raspberry cultivars. It is found that microsprout regeneration rate is 78,5–96,0 % on the multiplication s. str. stage. The most multipurpose nutrient medium is selected with containing 0,5 mg/l both of BAP and GK. When one uses this medium, regeneration rate runs 79,0–94,0% depending on genotype with sprout high running 24,8–32,7 mm and sprout number – 1,2–2,2 per node. The optimal duration of growing cycle is 30 days with the propagation index within 6,6–7,8, depending of genotype

EFFECT OF FLOW OF MUD ON DRILLING PROCESS. THE CASE OF THE NEWTONIAN FLUID

abstract 0741110034 issue 74 pp. 384 – 395 30.12.2011 ru 1979
Physical processes, arising up at removing of rock from the backwall of mining hole, are considered. The curve of sedimentation, allowing to determine the rate of climb of transporting of rock at cleaning of back-wall with newtonian liquids – air and water, is shown. The formula is shown out for the calculation of ex-pense of borax solution, necessary for the high-quality cleaning of backwall of mining hole at washing water or air

EFFECT OF FATTY-ACID CONCENTRATE (FAC) AND CARNITINE ON PERFORMANCE, PHYSIOLOGICAL CONDITION AND MEAT QUALITY OF BROILER CHICKENS

abstract 1211607089 issue 121 pp. 1453 – 1472 30.09.2016 ru 504
An experiment was conducted to examine the effect of fatty acid concentrate (FAC), as a new source of energy and carnitine on performance, physiological condition and meat quality of broiler chickens. In experiment there were four groups of 80 chickens of cross Hubbard each (males: females=40:40) in age period 0-41 days. 1 group (control) received in during the periods 0-14, 15-28 and 29-41days, sunflower oil (SO) respectively 5.34%, 5.50%, and 6.10%, group 2 received the same amounts of FAC instead SO, 3 group - mixture SO:FAC (50:50), 4 group -FAC + 0,25% carnitine. Final body weight: 1 group = 2574±29 g, 2 group FAC= 2553±27 g 3 group SO + FAC = 2531±34 g., 4 group FAC+0,25 carnitine = 2520±34 g. Feed conversion, digestibility of nutrients, blood hematology and biochemistry, the condition of organs, meat quality and cutting of carcass of chickens on FAC had no any differences from the same signs in chicks on SO. Carnitine had a positive effect on chicken growth only in the period 0-14 and less 15-28 days; in the period 29-41 days daily gain was below, than that in 1-3 groups. Canitine reduced the content of liver fat. Outcome: FAC is a satisfactory source of energy, comparable with vegetable oils. The price of FAC is 30% lower in comparison with sunflower oil and soybean oils, therefore its use in broiler poultry farming instead of vegetable oils will be of great economic importance
