EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT IN THE NATIONAL RICE BREEDING AND SEED PRODUCTION

abstract 1201606036 issue 120 pp. 527 – 536 30.06.2016 ru 390
The article reviews economic aspects of efficiency improvement of the national breeding capacity in rice growing. It is noted that there are no foreign rice varieties in the RF State Register of Breeding Achievements approved for use. However, only 2 - 3 leading rice varieties cover more than half of the rice acreage and thus reducing the efficiency of the existing varieties potential of the economic sub-sector. The critical importance of breeding and the wide-spread introduction into production of rice varieties resistant to disease is highlighted. The cyclic and growing occurrence frequency of blast as the most harmful disease of rice is shown. The data are provided on the increase of the annual cost of the rice crop and fungicide treatment and reduced yields of different varieties of rice during epiphytoties. A refined formula is proposed for calculating the annual economic effect of the introduction of new rice varieties. The formula takes into account changes in yield components, grain quality, the cost of breeding and introduction of new varieties, as well as the potential cost savings due to rice resistance to blast. The seeds of domestic long-grain rice varieties and exclusive varieties resistant to blast are available for the Russian market. For a wider introduction into production of all local bred rice varieties, it is necessary to actively develop seed production, improve market research as well as the management efficiency in plant breeding and seed production

EFFICACY OF SUPRANOL AND UTEROTON IN PREVENTION OF ACUTE POSTPARTUM ENDOMETRITIS IN COWS

abstract 1501906003 issue 150 pp. 30 – 55 28.06.2019 ru 607
The article reflects information characterizing the significance of mastitis and endometritis in the indicator of premature disposal of cows from herds of large farms in the western regions of the Krasnodar region: an average of 30% of the total culling of cows. The effectiveness of veterinary measures in Pravoberezhny JSC of the Temryuk district for mastitis and endometritis in cows was assessed: 81-95%; fertilization index value ‒ 1.8; the duration of the service period exceeds the requirements by 20 days. The studies the nature of the influence of the drugs called Sepranol and Uteroton on the calving process and the occurrence of postpartum complications in cows from the herd, which was formed with violation of breeding principles. The use of the drugs Uteroton and Sepranol contributed to a 50% decrease in the calving index in calving cows by 50% compared with the results of the combined use of estrophan and oxytocin. The use of Uteroton reduced the damage from the lack of milk by 87880 rubles, and the use of Sepranol - by 171164 rubles. We have given practical recommendation on the use of Uteroton and Sepranol for veterinary effects on the body of cows in the early postpartum period in order to reduce the occurrence of complications

EFFECTS OF INCREASED WATER TEMPERATURES ON REPRODUCTIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF RAINBOW TROUT FEMALES

abstract 1041410072 issue 104 pp. 950 – 961 30.12.2014 ru 973
The effects of increased water temperatures on the reproductive characteristics of rainbow trout females were studied. It was found, that the increased water temperatures produced negative effects on the gonad maturation and survival of the embryos when acted at the late stages (IV and V) of female gametogenesis, but not at the earlier (III) stage

EFFECTS OF GROWTH REGULATORS ON ROOTING CUTTINGS OF SYRINGA (PHILADELPHUS L.,PHILADELPHACEAE)

abstract 1051501054 issue 105 pp. 898 – 908 30.01.2015 ru 1232
Increased range of Syringa in landscaping is a topical issue. They are very decorative shrubs, more and more widely used in landscape design. Study of vegetative propagation of plants, with the use of growth regulators, was conducted to identify the most perspective stimulator and to reduce the terms of the finished product. Syringa refers to bad rooting cultures. However, the methods of green propagation of cuttings with the use of growth stimulators not only propagate a culture, but also increase the yield of landing products. The article considers the technology propagation by cuttings of this promising shrub. It also shows the effect of growth stimulators: radifarma and HB-101, used for soaking of cuttings. According to the research, we have found an apparent benefits effect of the processing of cuttings with the stimulators on growth and development of root system. The analysis of the tables of rooting rate of cuttings shows the positive development of cuttings in the processing of the growth regulators. We have obtained the experimental data allowing to define which varieties distinguished by the greatest rooting and duration rooting among all the studied cultivars. Thus, the studies show that the use of growth stimulators with propagation of Syringa cuttings is an effective way of reproduction

EFFECTS OF EMILIANOS ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS ON FORMATION OF QUALITATIVE INDICATORS OF WINES

abstract 1121508089 issue 112 pp. 1220 – 1231 30.10.2015 ru 978
Grapes are product of areas. Grape plant is very plastic and can grow on almost all types of soils except highly saline, fusion and wetlands. In studies of many authors, it was indicated the influence of different soil types and their properties on the growth of the vine plants, the quality of berries and their products. The object of study is soils and vines growing on them, laws and processes affecting the formation of grape production. Research methods are expeditions, field and laboratory. The article presents data on the effect of agrochemical soil properties (pH, solid residue, the amount of aqueous extract ions, chlorine ions, alkalinity (НSO3¯), calcium ion, magnesium ion, total carbonate, active carbonates, nitrate nitrogen, mobile phosphorus, exchangeable potassium , humus, humus reserves) on the formation of the harvest of grapes and wine products (tasting score, the extract, the amount of phenolic compounds, the amount of organic acids, the amount of amino acids, metal ions, potassium ions, sodium metal, magnesium ions, calcium ions, the amount of metal ions). With the help of statistical data, we can establish the effect of weather conditions on the formation of 2009-2011 qualitative wines of Cabernet Sauvignon
