The article analyzes the existing technologies and
methods of storage of tubers of topinambur. We have
analyzed the traditional methods of storage of tubers of
topinambur - in containers, boxes or bags in storage or
in the ground clamps. Russian and foreign topinambur
tubers storage technologies in modified atmosphere,
with use of easily removable wax coating, with plant
extracts treatment, at different storage temperatures are
studied. We have also carried out analysis of scientific
and patent sources led to the conclusion that existing
technologies and methods of storing topinambur tubers,
which do not allow reducing to the maximum extent
the weight loss and the inulin hydrolysis during
storage. A reasonable conclusion was made about the
advisability of further studies in the field of innovative
technologies and methods of preparation for storage
and storage of topinambur tubers, ensuring minimal
weight loss, as well as maximum preservation in their
structure of inulin, vitamin C and other biologically
active substances during storage

investigation, medical and nutritional importance of
fruits of Capparisherbacea L. including
CapparaceaeJuss. family in the area of the Nakhchıvan
Autonomous Republic. Some solvents had been applied,
fruit and leave extracts had been bought. The
purification and identification of content of plant
extracts had been investigated with spectroscopic and
chromotographic methods. The saponins, carotinoids,
chlorophyll pigments and flavonoids had been revealed
in the content of extracts. The extracts have been
acquired from fruits of this species by use of polar and
nonpolar solvents and the composition of extracts have
been studied with different applied methods. The

The level of competitiveness of the agricultural
sector depends on the effective implementation of
the import substitution policy and food security in
the region in which all categories of the population
at any one time must have physical and economic
opportunities needed to get enough and safe food
for an active, full and healthy life. In this context,
the problem of increasing the competitiveness of
regional agriculture in the new economic environment
is relevant. Competitiveness characterizes the
concentrated expression of the totality of possibilities
of managing subjects of agriculture produce
and to bring the products (goods, works, services)
to the consumer. Solving the problem of increasing
the competitiveness of regional agriculture is closely
linked to an increase in the effectiveness of the
quality management of products, increasing profitability
of production, improving the system of state
regulation of the agrarian sector of the economy.
Principles of creation of an effective mechanism of
state regulation and support the competitiveness of
the agro-industrial complex include: agro-industrial
protectionism; program-targeted regulation and
maintenance of the guaranteed state support for
agribusiness; efficient use of resources. The priority
areas to ensure the competitiveness of regional
agriculture are: to create conditions for the development
of innovation and investment environment,
the improvement of financial and economic state of
the industry and agribusiness organizations, improvement
of state support of the agrarian sector

of displacement of domestic hybrids in the Kuban region,

We have performed an experimental study of the
evaporation process at a temperature of 105 ° C for the
egg white model solution in distilled water to evaluate
the ratio of the heat transfer coefficient from air to
water ratio mass transfer to the water surface into the
air by evaporation from the free surface in a forced
convection. Evaporation of the solution was carried
out in a Memmert oven of class Basic (Germany)
equipped with forced air circulation, the control panel
with a display and a temperature control device. To
determine the surface temperature at which the main
evaporation of water from the process solution, the
experiment conducted under the same conditions by
measuring the average temperature of the layer of
water sample, placed in a Petri dish in an oven with a
sensor - DMM Mastech M838 series. It is found that
the coefficient of heat transfer from air to water almost
a thousand times greater than the coefficient mass
transfer from the water surface into the air

fuel and energy. In the world, the challenge
now is to ensure a gradual but steady transfer of
the economy on energy saving way of

energy costs we might use two ways: firstly, the
widespread introduction of energy saving
technologies, and secondly, the reduction of
material production, improving its quality and
service. In agriculture, the improvement of the
technological process can be carried out using
new tillage methods, improving the
organization of production and tools. Further
development of mechanization in agriculture
will contribute to further growth of
electrification in the agricultural sector, which
will significantly reduce the use of the most
expensive and limited energy resources. The
article offers a technique of the estimation of
the efficiency of consumption of energy in
agricultural production. In order to compare the
efficiency of machines in the cultivation and
harvesting of potatoes, there was conducted an
energy assessment of the operations of modern
technology. As variables, there were
investigated different operation modes of the
machine: working speed and working width,
depth of stroke of the working bodies. In the
process of evaluating energy operations,
modern technology to prepare the soil for
planting potatoes was determined humidity,
mechanical composition and soil type. As a
main factor in the analysis of technological
methods, we have taken the overall specific
energy consumption and specific energy

The article focuses on current issue of improving the
reliability of water intake buildings in the Far North.
We have given special operating conditions of these
structures, particularly ice drift, shore ice piles, windrowing
ice fields and erosion of the bottom of the
moving ice field with keel protrusion. We have described
physiographic, structural and morphological
conditions of the construction site, generalized information
on the parameters ice drift during an ice
moving in the waters of the Gulf of Ob in Salmanovskaye
deposit area. For these conditions, we
have accepted to make water intake structure with
recessed filtering part and given idea about their ice
protection and proposed an effective design of protective
constructions for all possible effects of ice
hummocks. We have also given a description of bases
of technology of construction works the rationale
for the design parameters of facilities. In view of the
possible load, two rows of closed pile foundations are
provided for the protection of water receivers consisting
of bored piles and channel filtering grillage. In
the first row, near to the water receivers we have provided
metallic, lattice constructions from metal profile
pipes laid on the top of water receivers on the
grillage. The second row of protective structures
around water receivers was designed as a halfly indepth
monolithic reinforced concrete grillage of rectangular cross-section form with an ice pick from a
metal corner rental rendered monolithic on the outside
perimeter of the grillage. Concrete grating are
designed also to protect the gravity pipelines along
the borders. Rectangular grillages interconnected
with cross bar bonds witch are also made of reinforced
concrete. The proposed technical solutions
provide reliable protection against possible water
intake facilities including dynamic effects from windrowing
ice fields in the Far North. Options include
new constructions of underground horizontal and
channel filter water intake structures that could be
effectively used in such conditions
