EFFECT OF DRIP IRRIGATION ON SOIL SALINIZATION

abstract 0641010020 issue 64 pp. 248 – 267 22.12.2010 ru 2298
The article presents the results of researching into the effect of drip irrigation on build-up of soil salinity using water with high salt content and the dynamics of changes during winter period under atmospheric precipitation. It was established that at the end of irrigation season zones with high salt content formed on the soil surface under drip irrigation using sodium sulfate water, among these salts gypsum was presented. In spring time the increasing of sodium sulfate content was found that indicates the exchange reaction with soil exchange complex passed as well as the insufficient salt leaching occurred during the winter period. In spring time the upper soil layer characterized with alkaline type of soil salinization

ASSESSMENT OF PEACH ROOT-STOCK RE-SISTANCE TO ABIOTIC AND BIOTIC STRES-SORS

abstract 0621008010 issue 62 pp. 119 – 128 28.10.2010 ru 2285
Researches on assessment of peach-tree stocks stability to soil pathogens (nematodes, fungi and bacterial diseases) and to the excess of lime and moisture as well were carried out in the conditions of scientific-industrial enterprises of Agromillora Cotalana (Spain). Adaptation level of studied stocks to marked stressors was determined upon the results of this work. The steadiest to them are allocated. Various parameters of grades of a peach in these conditions are estimated

NEW BREED OF HRISI IRINI GRAPE FOR HIGH-QUALITY SPARKLING, SWEET AND DRY WHITE WINES

abstract 0661102001 issue 66 pp. 1 – 18 28.02.2011 ru 2279
The breed of grape of Hrisi Irini is bred in Greece by P.Zamanidi and L.Troshin in 2003 by mating of the Greek breed of Asirtiko with the French breed of Semilon. Duration of production period is 156-165 days. Growth of shoots is strong (2,1-3,0). Degree of ripening of a vine is very high. Productivity is high. Average mass of clusters is 200 Differs with high winter hardiness, drought resistance and the raised resistance to fungous diseases in comparison with breeds of Vitis vinifera L. Flower is bisexual. Cluster is average, cyclo-conical, average density. Berry is average, oval, greenish-yellow colour, with a dense bloom. A pellicle is dense. Pulp and juice with high-quality odour. Sugar content is very high, it reaches 40 % with constant acidity in air-dry clusters on bushes. The breed of Hrisi Irini is included in ecological and geographical group of breeds of basin of Black sea under its morpho-physiological characteristics. The breed is intended for manufacturing dry white wines of an excellent class, and also high-quality dessert, sweet and sparkling wines; it is applicable for production of high-quality juice, compotes as well. The breed is very perspective for southern zones where grapes have no sufficient acidity

PRUNING OF FRUIT-BEARING ORCHARDS OF APPLE ON MIDDE TALL ROOTSTOCKS

abstract 0611007018 issue 61 pp. 229 – 237 24.09.2010 ru 2261
In the North Caucasus there is about 50% of fruit plantations of the old type: stocks with strong and low power of growth, planting density from 320 to 416 trees/ha. The trees reach 6 feet high, the crown is thickened, minor crops and poor quality. One of the main causes of low profitability of such plantations is low intensity of pruning

APOLLON – THE NEW WINE HIGH QUALITY GRAPE VARIETY WITH BLACK BERRY

abstract 0751201011 issue 75 pp. 121 – 139 27.01.2012 ru 2252
Universal black-berry Apollo grape has been launched in Greece by P.Zamanidi, L.Troshin and A.Isachkin in 2003 with combinative selection - crossing of the Fi-lery Greek variety with the French Cabernet-Sauvignon. The duration of the production period 136-145 days. The strength of growth of arms is strong (2,1-3,0 m), the degree of maturation of the vines is high. Crop yields are very high - 35-40 t/ha. The aver-age mass of clusters is 430 g. It is characterized by high winter hardiness, drought-resistance and high resistance to fungal diseases in comparison with varie-ties of Vitis vinifera. The flower is bisexual. Cluster is big or very big, conical with the wing, loose. Berries are medium or large, oval, blue-black in color, with a thick wax coating. The skin is thick. The pulp and juice - with varietal flavor. Sugar content is high. Notable for long saving the harvest in the bushes, well-kept in the cooler cells. The variety is meant for the fresh consumption and for manufacture of red dry, desert and sweet wines; suitable for production of high-quality juices

CHARACTER OF OF THE CONJUGATION OF CHROMOSOMES IN ANTHER MOTHER CELLS OF INTERSPECIFIC TOMATO F1 HYBRIDS

abstract 0651101011 issue 65 pp. 125 – 134 31.01.2011 ru 2227
The analysis of frequency and distribution of chiasma of interspecific tomato F1 hybrids at meiosis prophase I was given. The character of synapsis in anther mother cells of interspecific tomato F1 hybrids was determined; the number of distal and interstitial chiasmata was calculated. The samples, recommended for their inclusion into the selection process as the inducer of genetic variability were chosen
