INNOVATIONS OF WINE GROWING IN RUSSIA. 15. SEEDLESS GRADES OF GRAPES

abstract 0561002012 issue 56 pp. 138 – 158 26.02.2010 ru 3011
In the article the information of a problem of seedless grape berries and a gene fund of seedless grades, the best 44 genotypes from which are presented in color photos is resulted. In industry of the Russian Federation they are cultivated on the area of about 120 hectares. These grades of grapes possess useful signs and properties, are valuable gene-sourсes and donors of polygenes for selection. Among the resulted grades of grapes in Russian zoned assortment of seedless grapes there are only 2 for today. Questions of this direction of researches are closely stated in our manual «Seedless grades of grapes» (Krasnodar: KubSAU, 2008. - 160 p., 58 pics)

INNOVATIONS OF WINE GROWING IN RUSSIA. 16. MASS-PRODUCTION VARIETIES OF GRAPES

abstract 0561002013 issue 56 pp. 159 – 174 26.02.2010 ru 3668
In this article color photos of 66 mass-production grades which have been removed from division into districts and/or excluded from the State registry of grapes of the Russian Federation as conceded to more competitive on adaptability and profitability, and also of phenotypes removed from the State test are presented. The number of mass-production grades has reached 460 for today. Although the term of "mass-production" grades is not very good, but in wine growing it has appeared to be comprehensible enough and clear to experts for a long time

abstract 0561002014 issue 56 pp. 175 – 194 26.02.2010 ru 2851
In the given section questions of a correct choice of the ground area for establishment of a vineyard at new place are examined, considering high insistence of the sample to heat and light; the question of a choice of soil is connected with reception of a high crop of high quality grapes and products of its processing. Innovational technologies of soil preparation and the territory organization for a vineyard establishment are described, main principles of selection of table and technical grades, their placing on a site are given

«PROFESSOR GUZUN» – A NEW GREECE-RUSSIAN HIGH QUALITY PINK BERRY WINE GRAPE VARIETY

abstract 0551001004 issue 55 pp. 43 – 57 31.01.2010 ru 2602
The sort of grapes "Professor Guzun" is hybridized, created as a result of the Greek-Russian scientific creative cooperation, is deduced in Greece by Pantelei Zamanidi and Leonid Troshin in 2001 by crossing of grades Moskhofilero and Merlo. Under morphological and physiological characteristics it is included in a group of grades of pool of Black sea (convar. pontica subconvar. balcanica Negr.). Duration of production period is 146-155 days. Growth of arms is strong. Productivity is very high. Average weight of a cluster is 320 gr. The sort is rather winter-hardy and frigostable. It is characterized by higher stability to mildew, oidioum and grey decay in comparison with the Black Sea wine grades. Drought resistance is higher than grades of the West European group The flower is hermaphroditic. Grapes are average size or bigger, conic, average density. A berry of average size, roundish, dark pink color. A peel is tight. Pulp is juicy, with the sort taste. Sugar content is high. The grade is intended for manufacturing of high-quality dry, champagne, strong or dessert wines of different categories

OPTIMIZATION OF NUTRIENT MEDIUM COMPOSITION BY THE MATHEMATICAL DESIGN OF EXPERIMENT FOR SHOOT TIP DEVELOPMENT IN FOUR GRAPEVINE GENOTYPES

abstract 0551001005 issue 55 pp. 58 – 75 31.01.2010 ru 1908
Nutrient media for shoot development from shoot tips 0.5-0.8 mm with several leaf primordia in four grapevine genotypes were optimized by means of a mathematical design of experiment. Over the range of component concentrations CaCl2 had considerable the highest effect on shoot tip development compared to other components of the media. Grapevine genotypes were different in their needs for concentrations of macro-elements to optimize the process of their growth and development. Shoot development from shoot tips in each grapevine genotype as a function of macro-element concentrations in media must be described by an individual regression equation. The proposed method of result evaluation and the mathematical design of experiment may be used in physiological and agricultural research for optimization of processes affected by numerous factors. The optimized media for shoot tip development may by used for sanitation of grape plants from viruses in meristem cultures
