The breed of grape of Hrisi Irini is bred in Greece by P.Zamanidi and L.Troshin in 2003 by mating of the Greek breed of Asirtiko with the French breed of Semilon. Duration of production period is 156-165 days. Growth of shoots is strong (2,1-3,0). Degree of ripening of a vine is very high. Productivity is high. Average mass of clusters is 200 Differs with high winter hardiness, drought resistance and the raised resistance to fungous diseases in comparison with breeds of Vitis vinifera L. Flower is bisexual. Cluster is average, cyclo-conical, average density. Berry is average, oval, greenish-yellow colour, with a dense bloom. A pellicle is dense. Pulp and juice with high-quality odour. Sugar content is very high, it reaches 40 % with constant acidity in air-dry clusters on bushes. The breed of Hrisi Irini is included in ecological and geographical group of breeds of basin of Black sea under its morpho-physiological characteristics. The breed is intended for manufacturing dry white wines of an excellent class, and also high-quality dessert, sweet and sparkling wines; it is applicable for production of high-quality juice, compotes as well. The breed is very perspective for southern zones where grapes have no sufficient acidity
Universal black-berry Apollo grape has been launched in Greece by P.Zamanidi, L.Troshin and A.Isachkin in 2003 with combinative selection - crossing of the Fi-lery Greek variety with the French Cabernet-Sauvignon. The duration of the production period 136-145 days. The strength of growth of arms is strong (2,1-3,0 m), the degree of maturation of the vines is high. Crop yields are very high - 35-40 t/ha. The aver-age mass of clusters is 430 g. It is characterized by high winter hardiness, drought-resistance and high resistance to fungal diseases in comparison with varie-ties of Vitis vinifera. The flower is bisexual. Cluster is big or very big, conical with the wing, loose. Berries are medium or large, oval, blue-black in color, with a thick wax coating. The skin is thick. The pulp and juice - with varietal flavor. Sugar content is high. Notable for long saving the harvest in the bushes, well-kept in the cooler cells. The variety is meant for the fresh consumption and for manufacture of red dry, desert and sweet wines; suitable for production of high-quality juices
The article presents the characteristics of the chemical composition of a complex of seven-resistant varieties, introduced in the Central zone of the Krasnodar region, and the quality produced from these natural clarified pasteurized juices, against three of the Eurasian, the control group. We recommend the most valuable varieties for production of high quality juices
In this article chemical and technical characteristics questions of vine materials, received from protoclones of grapes of Saperavi grade - one of the basic classical grades of grapes selected in "Pobeda" Joint-Stock Company are taken up. Samples of grapes have been used for preparation of red table wines by mash fermentation on septum in workshop of micro winemaking of The North Caucasian zone scientific research institute of gardening and wine growing. They have not given vine materials identical on physical and chemical and organoleptical features. Samples with low productivity essentially differed on organoleptical qualities from other samples and had the highest sampling estimations that allows to take measures on loading regulation on a grape bush and correct quality of wine in further by means of methods of agricultural technics. For making high-quality table red vine materials it is recommended to use apple-lactic fermentation by means of oxygen-eating bacteria
Extraction of the DNA from leaves of genus Vitis is a very difficult task, as a grape has a lot of elements, which make difficult to use it in the genetic manipulation. In that article used the methods of extraction of the DNA with silica (SiO2) particles as the absorbent material for getting better quality DNA
In the present article, we have described data of comparative ampelography of biometric evaluation of leaf parameters of the three table grapes: Preobragenie, Victor and Jubiley Novocherkasska, widespread in the amateur and farming areas of Russia and the Ukraine
Newest wine black berry with painted pulp and juice grape variety called Mir was breeded at Athens Institute of Viticulture (Greece) by Zamanidi P., Troshin L. and Radchevsky P. in 2006 by crossing the Ukrainian variety of Odessa black (Alicante Bouschet x Cabernet Sauvignon) with new Greek black berry variety Iliad. According to the morphological and physiological characteristics included in the eco-geographical group of Black Sea Coast. Length of production period - 146-155 days. Strong growth of arms (2,1-3,0 m). Percentage of productive shoots - over 90. Productivity is very high: 20-30 t / ha. The average mass of clusters is 260 g. Characterized by high resistance to cold, drought and increased resistance to fungal diseases in comparison with varieties of Vitis vinifera. Lobes, the stamens and fully developed gynoecium. Bunch medium, often with tapered wing, the average density. Berry small, round, blue-black, with a thick waxy coating. The peel is medium thickness, dense, durable. Pulp and juice intensely colored. Sugar content is very high. Prolonged preservation of different crop on bushes. Variety intended for manufacturing intensely colored dry red wines of excellent grade and high-quality sparkling, dessert, sweet and liqueur wines; and is suitable for the manufacture of high quality strong colored juices. When used in blends with other varieties, it enhances color, flavor and improves the bouquet of wine
The morphometry of leaves of the Kuban wild-growing lianas of grape, as we know, is not learnt till now and availability of quoters of pure subspecies of Vitis vinifera silvestris Gmel is not demonstrated., though suppositions about this information soared in the scientific environment as old as Adam [5]. With the advent of a direction of morphometry taxonomy there was a necessity of accurate bracing of a current state of a genotypical diversity of lianas and biological polymorphism of leaves for link establishment silvestris - silvesatis - sativa
The grape variety with colored pulp and juice named “Professor Davids” was selected in Greece by P.Zamanidy, L.Troshin and A.Isachkin in 2003 with crossing of the Greek varieties of “Mandilaria” with the French introducent of “Alicant Bushe”. The duration of the production period is 156-165 days. Variety is full-grown. The degree of maturation of the vines is high. Crop yields are very high. The average mass of clusters is 300 gr. Has a high winter hardiness, drought-resistance and high resistance to fungal diseases in comparison with industrial varieties of Vitis vinifera. The female flower, with the stamens. The bunch of average size, cylindroconical, medium density. Berries are medium, round, blue-black in color, with a thick wax coating. The skin is thick, dense. The pulp and juice are intensively painted, with varietal flavour. Sugar content is very high. Notable for long preservation of the harvest in the bushes. The variety is suitable for making intensively painted dry red wines of superior class and high-quality dessert wines and unique juices. Due to its morpho- physiological characteristics it has been included in the eco-geographic group of varieties of the Black sea basin
In this article we have described our work on genotyping of new ten productive wine grape protoclones
