COMPARATIVE STUDY OF HYBRIDS OF THE FIRST AND SECOND GENERATIONS OF DURUM WINTER WHEAT OF VARIOUS CROSS-BREEDING

abstract 1141510018 issue 114 pp. 248 – 260 30.12.2015 ru 1004
The article substantiates a necessity to apply the method of interspecific hybridization in durum winter wheat breeding, using the present soft winter varieties for improvement of frost and drought tolerance at the beginning of germination; resistance to snow mold, fusariosis and bacteriosis of ears and grain. The article presents the results of a comparative study of different types of crossbreeding at interspecific and intraspecific hybridization due to germination, emergence, productivity. It has been shown that intraspecific hybrids ‘T. durum оз. х T. durum оз.’, interspecific hybrids ‘T. durum оз. х Т. аestivum оз’ and ‘Т. аestivum оз. х T. durum оз.’ possessed the highest germination and emergence with 71,8/75,3% for direct and 60,4/82,5% for backward, 42,8 and 35,5% and 55,4 and 64,1% respectively. In backward (triplecross) cross-breeding of F1 interspecific hybrids with durum winter wheat the grain germination was down to 37,4 and 36,6%, but the emergence was up to 64,1 and 69,7% and reached the level of intraspecific hybrids. According to the elements of ear (head) productivity (grain mass per head, number of seeds per head), interspecific double-cross hybrids of the first and the second generation significantly conceded to intraspecific hybrids, but they matched them in a number of spikelets and grain size. The triple-cross hybrids exceed the double interspecific hybrids in this respect, but they concede to double-cross and triple-cross intraspecific hybrids. We studied the principle of splitting of interspecific hybrids of the second generation ‘T. durum оз. х Т. аestivum оз.’ and ‘T. durum оз. х T. durum оз.’ (direct and backward) and the triple-cross hybrids obtained from cross-breeding of interspecific and intraspecific double-cross hybrids F1 with durum winter wheat

COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF THE NUTRITIVE VALUE OF DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF PEA AND CHICKPEA GRAIN IN DROUGHT CONDITIONS

abstract 1071503092 issue 107 pp. 1416 – 1425 31.03.2015 ru 1260
The article presents materials on comparative study of the nutritional value of chickpeas and peas which are widespread in the arid zone of the Southern Urals. The scheme of the scientific and economic experiments involved the assessment of yield formation of chickpeas and peas during the vegetation. The study showed that different varieties of chickpea and pea have considerable difference in the content of nutrients. The amount of crude protein in the pea grain ranged from 25.1 to 26.8%, and chickpea – 21.7 - 22.9%. With regard to the fat, its highest concentration was in chickpea grain - 3.63%, on average, which is 1.16% higher than on average in the pea grain. The chemical composition of the pea and chickpea grain of different varieties points to differences in their composition and homogeneity within the culture. Basing on the study, we recommend to sow chickpea and pea grain in the middle of May to obtain the highest yield, this, in turn, has a positive effect on the nutritional value of the crops. When selecting plants for cultivation in the conditions of the Southern Urals, it is preferable to choose the variety of Madonna pea, which has a higher potential for yield than the chickpea variety Krasnokutsky-123. It has been experimentally found that chickpea grain has better moisture-retaining power in a bound condition during the vegetation period as compared to the relevant characteristics of pea grain, which is a positive drought-resistant value of crop. In structural elements of the harvest the peas showed the trend of the highest rates in comparison with the corresponding elements in chickpeas

abstract 1211607090 issue 121 pp. 1473 – 1486 30.09.2016 ru 492
The purpose of the research is to compare the effect of a new symbiotic feed supplement created based on propionic and lactic acid bacteria with a widely used domestic and foreign enzyme-probiotic preparations in chickens 0-28 days of age of the Lohmann Brown egg cross. In the experiment, there were six groups of chickens: group 1 received basal diet (BD); group 2 – BD + symbiotic preparation; group 3 – BD + Bacell; group 4 – BD + Agrocell; group 5 – BD + Agroksil; group 6 – BD + Ollzaym Vegpro. Average daily gain, food conversion rate per 1g of weight gain, digestibility of organic matter, crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat, made up respectively: group 1 – 8.17, 1.91, 71.4, 58.3, 68.0, 81.1; group 2 ˗ 8.36, 1.90, 72.4, 60.2, 69.7, 88.1; group 3 – 8.13, 1.91, 73.1, 60.2, 69.7, 88.1; group 4 – 8.33, 1.86, 74.2, 62.5, 72.2, 87.6; group 5 – 8.50, 1.83, 77.3, 64.1, 73.4, 95.4; group 6 – 7.91, 1.92, 73.2, 67.5, 70.7, 94.3. The growth rate of chickens fed with symbiotic feed supplement was 2.3% higher than in the control and they showed the highest fiber digestibility. The chickens on diet with Agroksil enzyme efficiently raised growth rate (+4%) and reduced feed costs (-4.2%). Agrocell increased weight gain by 2% and reduce feed costs by 2.6%. The growth rate of chickens fed Ollazaym Vegpro was the lowest (96.8% of control), despite the fact that it increased significantly the digestibility of crude protein, but slightly improved the digestibility of other nutrients. Outcome: symbiotic feed supplement may be of interest as a means of increasing the productivity of chickens

COMPARATIVE ENERGY CHARACTERISTIC OF FUNCTIONING OF PERSONAL SUBSIDIARY FARMS: IMPLEMENTATION OF THE METHODICAL APPROACH

abstract 1341710020 issue 134 pp. 241 – 251 29.12.2017 ru 452
Currently, personal subsidiary farms (PSF) have an important place in solving of the food security problem in some regions and the country as a whole. The organization of optimal and sustainable management strategy of maintenance for PSF should be planned according to the study of functioning of PSF. The authors propose a unified methodical approach for complex accounting of energy costs of external and internal flows involved in the production of agricultural products. Comparative energy characteristic of the functioning of the two personal subsidiary farms located in the Tomsk oblast and having different socio-economic and climatic conditions is presented in the article. Both farms are located in the taiga zone of Western Siberia. Calculations of the energy content of all the incoming and outgoing flows involved in the economic activities of PSF showed that the flow of technogenicanthropogenic energy is the most energy-intensive for both farms. Some conformity in the energy structure of consumption of their own product takes place despite the different types of stockbreeding specialization. An assessment of the level of selfsufficiency in food has shown that more favourable socio-economic conditions create preconditions for an increase of the anthropogenic flow. While PSF located in remote areas are forced to conduct of business activities with maximum using of natural resource potential

COMPARATIVE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE FEEDING OF DIFFERENT BREEDS CATTLE AT CLOSED JOINT STOCK COMPANY AGROCOMPLEX FIRM

abstract 1331709090 issue 133 pp. 1193 – 1208 30.11.2017 ru 465
The fattening of Holstein cattle for more than 90 % provides the beef cattle division of the firm «Agrocomplex» based in the village of Vyselki, the Krasnodar region. The share of the Aberdeen Angus breed is 6.3 % and Charolais at 0.6 %. The reason for insufficient supply with fattening complex of Charolais cattle is a high indicator of severe parturition, postpartum complications, and reduced productive longevity of cows of breeding herds of these breeds. In a "Livestock complex" bulls of breeds of Holstein, Charolais and Aberdeen Angus reach the required values of live weight for the established standards of the breeding time. Charolais have the best indicators of absolute and relative weight gain and the shortest feeding season. The profitability of cattle fattening in CJSC company "Agrocomplex" is low, but the efficiency of the industry is ensured by the presence of its own processing plants. To improve the profitability of beef production it is required to increase the proportion of specialized breeds for meat productivity; to generate the most uniform by age and live weight of the group; identify the cause of the high rate of culling of Charolais cows for postpartum complications and take action to address them

COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF TECHNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF DELICACIES FROM MEAT OF IMPORTED PIGS

abstract 1311707003 issue 131 pp. 19 – 28 29.09.2017 ru 577
In recent years, many pigs of specialized breeds, characterized by increased meat qualities, have been brought to Russia from Canada and a number of European countries. The article presents the results of the assessment of slaughter and meat qualities of pigs of different genotypes. Danish pig meat was used as research objects: purebred landrace (CHL), benthic hybrid Landrasx yorkshire (LxY), three-breed hybrid landrace hyorkshire x dyurok (LxXxD), removed from control fattening, and developed prototypes of delicacy products. The commission evaluation of meat and broth showed that the boiled meat from the three breed animals received the highest score, and the quality of the broth significantly exceeded the samples of purebred landrace and two-breed animals. As a result of the tasting evaluation of the Voronezh ham, it was established that the samples of meat from threebreeded pigs, in comparison with the samples from purebred meat, show the most pronounced flavor, aroma and soft consistency
