Side products obtained during processing of many oil
crops, have a high feed value and use in rations of
animals and birds. The important thing in feeding
poultry is protein nutritional value of forages and
their biological integrity, expressed in amino acid
composition. In this regard, there was a comparative
analysis of the chemical and amino acid composition
traditionally used in compound feeds for poultry,
sunflower cake, and previously unexamined mustard
protein-containing feed concentrate called "Gorlinka".
During the research, it was found that the studied new
feed additive is better comparing to sunflower meal,
considering protein content and essential amino acids
Currently, we are constantly improving the recipes of
fish feeds, this reduces the cost of feed per gain, and it
overall decreases cost of fish. We search for
alternative cheaper sources of nutrients. Leftovers of
vegetable oil and oil extraction industry such as oil
cakes and meals have been used as high-protein feed
additives for a long time. This requires a strict
scientific control, precluding the possibility of their
harmful effects on animal health. In this regard, there
was a comparative analysis of the chemical and
amino acid composition traditionally used in
compound feeds for sturgeons of sunflower cake and
feed concentrate from "Sarepta" vegetable raw
materials. During the research it was found that
"Sarepta" is better than sunflower meal considering
protein and essential amino acids content
High growth-rate of plantlet is the integral index of
intensity of physiological processes at rice and other
cultures. 20 typical plantlets from each of two
variants were studded (in the distilled water in
thermostat at a temperature 29° C) by:
length of embryonic root and coleoptile. Comparative
analysis of trait characterizing the growth rates of rice
varieties showed reliable advantage of Russian ones
above the Italian and Chinese. Local varieties,
regionalized until the year 2000, exceed new ones on
this trait. Highest growth rates were characterized by
medium grain samples. The white grain and red grain
varieties are excelled other groups on the height of
plantlet. Analysis rates of height of plantlets in the
distinguished groups showed the necessity of
prosecution of improvement of the above enumerated
signs at the varieties of late term of ripening, long
grain, with Waxy gene, colored grain. We recommend
to sow this type of varieties on fields with good
leveling, because of low speed of growth
The article deals with the development of embryotransplantation and obtaining single and twin calves use of hormonal preparations FSH-Super and follotropin to provoke donors to super ovulation of folliculogenesis and embryos survival which were transplanted intocontralateral and ipsilateral uterine horn. Parameters of single and twin calves-transplantators’ growing in ontogenesis are also considered
The assessment of quantitative signs of plants of peas and comparison of hybrid lines of leafless peas and leaves morphotypes is carried out. Lines of peas which are more productive and most adapted for the south Rostov region conditions were allocated as a result
In recent years, many pigs of specialized breeds,
characterized by increased meat qualities, have been
brought to Russia from Canada and a number of
European countries. The article presents the results of
the assessment of slaughter and meat qualities of pigs
of different genotypes. Danish pig meat was used as
research objects: purebred landrace (CHL), benthic
hybrid Landrasx yorkshire (LxY), three-breed hybrid
landrace hyorkshire x dyurok (LxXxD), removed from
control fattening, and developed prototypes of delicacy
products. The commission evaluation of meat and
broth showed that the boiled meat from the three breed
animals received the highest score, and the quality of
the broth significantly exceeded the samples of
purebred landrace and two-breed animals. As a result
of the tasting evaluation of the Voronezh ham, it was
established that the samples of meat from threebreeded
pigs, in comparison with the samples from
purebred meat, show the most pronounced flavor,
aroma and soft consistency
The article presents the results obtained in experi-ments at the effect of the formation of crown of apple varieties, such as Idared, Golden Delicious, Florina and Reinette Simirenko on economic affect in Kuban region fruit zone. The estimation of different types of forming crowns is given. The best results were obtained in forming crowns in type of Bee Baum and Sollux for all varieties
The fattening of Holstein cattle for more than 90 % provides the beef cattle division of the firm «Agrocomplex» based in the village of Vyselki, the Krasnodar region. The share of the Aberdeen Angus breed is 6.3 % and Charolais at 0.6 %. The reason for insufficient supply with fattening complex of Charolais cattle is a high indicator of severe parturition, postpartum complications, and reduced productive longevity of cows of breeding herds of these breeds. In a "Livestock complex" bulls of breeds of Holstein, Charolais and Aberdeen Angus reach the required values of live weight for the established standards of the breeding time. Charolais have the best indicators of absolute and relative weight gain and the shortest feeding season. The profitability of cattle fattening in CJSC company "Agrocomplex" is low, but the efficiency of the industry is ensured by the presence of its own processing plants. To improve the profitability of beef production it is required to increase the proportion of specialized breeds for meat productivity; to generate the most uniform by age and live weight of the group; identify the cause of the high rate of culling of Charolais cows for postpartum complications and take action to address them
Currently, personal subsidiary farms (PSF) have an
important place in solving of the food security problem
in some regions and the country as a whole. The
organization of optimal and sustainable management
strategy of maintenance for PSF should be planned
according to the study of functioning of PSF. The
authors propose a unified methodical approach for
complex accounting of energy costs of external and
internal flows involved in the production of
agricultural products. Comparative energy
characteristic of the functioning of the two personal
subsidiary farms located in the Tomsk oblast and
having different socio-economic and climatic
conditions is presented in the article. Both farms are
located in the taiga zone of Western Siberia.
Calculations of the energy content of all the incoming
and outgoing flows involved in the economic activities
of PSF showed that the flow of technogenicanthropogenic
energy is the most energy-intensive for
both farms. Some conformity in the energy structure
of consumption of their own product takes place
despite the different types of stockbreeding
specialization. An assessment of the level of selfsufficiency
in food has shown that more favourable
socio-economic conditions create preconditions for an
increase of the anthropogenic flow. While PSF located
in remote areas are forced to conduct of business
activities with maximum using of natural resource
potential
The article presents the data on testing of varieties of the Austrian selection in the conditions of the central zone of the Krasnodar region. Phenological observations, winter hardiness and productivity analyzed. The influences of the seeding rate on productivity of the varieties have been discussed
